Welcome.
It doesn't matter where you last were or what you were doing. What matters is that you're waking up in a decently comfortable bed in a room that's completely unfamiliar. You may feel a bit groggy, like you've slept for too long, but that will fade in time. Welcome to Graceside Preparatory Academy. You may want to pick up the key to your room before you leave, though don't worry. Your door won't lock automatically so you won't be locked out if you've forgotten to pick it up. The hallway outside your room is most likely full of other confused students by now and should you turn around to look at the door of the room you just left, you'll find a nameplate with your name printed on it. There's a single word underneath it with no explanation. This is your title, but don't worry about that right now. Depending on when you left your room there may be a clock chiming in the foyer up ahead. It seems like it's seven, though it's difficult to tell if it's seven in the morning or seven at night. There aren't any windows, after all. Should you venture into the room with the clock, you'll find that the only exit is closed - there's absolutely no way to break down that steel bulkhead. It looks like you're stuck in here for the time being. The foyer also holds some very interesting information. There's a bulletin board with twenty-nine pictures on it. Beside each picture is some very specific and very familiar information. Feel free to examine it. The bulletin board is large enough for plenty of you to gather around and gawk. Don't try to get at it though, that glass in front of it is very thick. If you try to break it, you'll find out the hard way that it's shatterproof. Sorry about that. Perhaps even more of a concern than the glass is the list beside the profiles. It looks like a set of rules. You might want to examine those, though they're not providing much of an explanation for why you're here or how you got here. So relax and get to know your fellow students. You might be stuck here for awhile. |

[ And she'd like to have more of one, please. ]

...You just woke up here too, I assume? No memory of it or anything?
no subject
Yeah. Last thing I remember was talking to Luna...then, bam! Here I was waking up. I don't even think I fell asleep.
no subject
[ Of course, she was probably comatose...and, naturally, there's no proof that this other girl is telling the truth. There's no way to call her out, but... ]
It's a real pain in the ass.

[ UNFORTUNATELY, CALLING BULLSHIT ON A KIDNAPPING DOESN'T MAKE IT SUDDENLY STOP HAPPENING...? ]
Luna and I were in the middle of a crowded fucking district, even.

[ She practically spits the words out. She's disgusted. ]
This Luna, she's the same Luna here in these profiles? The "Counterbalanced" one?
no subject
[ Sun and Moon, Sol and Luna, Adversarial and Counterbalanced.
Two forces pushing and pulling against one another. ]

[ Asuka's not really impressed, if her annoyed stance wasn't any indication; as far as she's concerned, these titles are just sort of slapped on.
"Contrary". What a joke. ]
Is that trying to say that together, you two cancel each other out?
no subject
[ It hasn't really been her main focus for exploration, honestly. ]
We're opposites, I guess? I don't think it matters all that much, overall. What they call us is way less fucking important than getting out, right?
no subject
We should try and deal with that person first, so they don't get any ideas. Then we can get the fuck out of here.
no subject
[ YEAH...Sol doesn't look best pleased about that one. ]
Taking a life...honestly, do they think it's such a negligible thing?
no subject
Obviously, that means the people here are untrustworthy.
no subject
[ She suddenly looks a little bit older and a lot more mad. ]
...I fucking hate people who do that.
no subject
Everyone in this building, made to play this game. Don't trust any of them.
no subject
[ She's not offended at the warning, and in fact it's kind of...nice? Of the other girl to give it. But even so... ]
Not trusting anyone, not reaching out a hand to help out...yeah, I don't think I can go back to doing that kind of thing, even if it ends bad.
no subject
Funny. I have the opposite experience.
no subject
[ Never again. That's the promise, the promise they made to one another and Goz, and like hell is she going to break it for some dumbass prison escape. ]
So, when it turns out I keep that promise, try to brighten up your view a hair or something like that.
no subject
[ For now, anyway. We'll see. ]
Let's hope everyone else here feels the same way.
no subject
[ #ANTI-MURDER #MURDER SUCKS ]
As to that...who knows? Luna's gonna say the same stuff as me, but prettier.

[ even if you don't trust her or whatever Sol doesn't seem to mind working as a team for the time being. WHATEVER, SHE'LL DEAL WITH BACKSTABBING LATER. ]
no subject
[ She doesn't exactly like the idea of working as a team with someone. But if they work together and split up, the two of them can cover more ground, and maybe interrogate different people. ]
You cover the south side of the hall. I'll take the north. We'll meet up back here when we're done and you can tell me what you've found, if anything.
no subject
Sure thing. See you in a bit, Asuka.
[ Not like Asuka gave out her name, but the profiles slash door tags are good for something at least... ]
no subject
[ She looks over her shoulder and regards her with a tousle of her crimson hair over the shoulder. ]
Let's hope we get something.
no subject
[ Sol will just skip off in the direction she'd been directed to go in. If Asuka cares to thread out chatting about what they found, she'll later circle around to meet up again. ]
