Induction.
You've all had some time to get to know each other; whether or not you're all getting along is another matter. Either way, one thought pattern seems to be pretty prevalent, no matter what you think of this entire situation – Where, exactly, is the Conductor? That question isn't going to be answered in full, even now; if you were hoping to work out exactly who the Conductor is...well, that's not going to be readily answered, either. What you are going to get, however, is the sound of that public address box mounted into the wall somewhere above your heads crackling to life; it's staticky and a little grating at first, like someone's fiddling with the volume control somewhere, but eventually it clears up. "Ah, is it..?" It's a little uncertain at first, but that, too, clears up soon enough; it's a male voice, at least that much is discernible. "Greetings to the lot of you, the new class at Graceside Academy; I trust you've familiarized yourself with the rules. "You can call me the Conductor." |
[OOC: You can be heard just fine through the PA system, so feel free to ask any questions your little heart desires; brackets are fine, you don't need to use prose!]

Hey! Train guy! Did you or someone else hurt people back home when you dragged us here?
[ And why the fuck can't she remember. ]

You're following the rules or whatever, right? If we have needs that aren't currently being met, can we ask you to fill them? It's not "let us the fuck out", though I wouldn't turn that down.
[ She crosses her arms, staring at a wall since it's not like she can see the guy's face. ]
That old man [ cabanela ] showed up with injuries, and there wasn't shit to treat him really; we had to improvise. To meet our needs to the best of this facility's ability, can we get a first aid kit or something like that? Schools are supposed to have that shit, aren't they?

...Yeah, okay, thanks for that. [ she guesses??? he's slightly more tolerable than kiga so far but that's saying absolutely nothing at all. ]
About rule 9 [ because that's the creepiest one ] who's supposed to determine if the guilty party is found or not?
[ ??? Sol would like to believe no one would go for it but SIDE-EYES RICK. ]

We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

[ AGAIN, SIDE-EYES RICK. ]
How'd you fuckin' land a job like this? Do they advertise it in the papers? "Wanted: one cryptic guy to kidnap eclectic group of strangers liable to shout at everything."
[ humor helps her cope ok ]

No, no, I volunteered. It's a matter of knowing the right sort of people and being the wrong sort of talented.

Do you get a dental plan or anything? [ SOL, YOU COULD TRY TO ASK SOMETHING USEFUL????? Be like Luna, you can do it ]
Being the wrong sort of talented is never a barrel of laughs.

You just have to be careful regarding what you do with it.

[ Too late, her mind supplies. She knows it now, too late to erase anything that had happened before. ]
What's the place you're from like? Or is that somethin' you're required to be all cryptic as fuck about?
