Welcome.
Rise and shine. There are a few things that matter right now - the fact that you're waking up in an unfamiliar but decently comfortable bed, the fact that you don't recognize the room you're in, the fact that you seem to have some sort of headache... Nothing severe, mind. Just the sort of odd, heavy fuzziness that comes with having slept far too long. You don't really remember where you were immediately before this, not upon waking. Something will come to you eventually if you think long enough, however - a couple of seconds of consideration will bring to mind a place, a memory, a recollection of where you were and what you were doing. It probably wasn't anything that would result in you being here, though. Welcome to Graceside Preparatory Academy. You may want to pick up the key to your room before you leave the room, but don't worry too much - your door won't lock automatically, so you won't be locked out if you've forgotten to pick it up. It seems you're not alone, either; the hallway outside your room is most likely full of other confused people by now, and should you turn around to look at the door of the room you just left, you'll find a nameplate with your name printed on it. There's a single word underneath it with no explanation. This is your title, but don't worry about that right now. Depending on when you left your room there may be a clock chiming in the foyer up ahead. It seems like it's seven, though it's difficult to tell if it's seven in the morning or seven at night. There aren't any windows, after all. Should you venture into the room with the clock, you'll find that the only exit is closed - there's absolutely no way to break down that steel bulkhead. It looks like you're not getting out of here anytime soon. The foyer also holds some very interesting information. There's a bulletin board with thirty-five pictures on it. Beside each picture is some very specific and very familiar information. Feel free to examine it. The bulletin board is large enough for plenty of you to gather around and gawk. Don't try to get at it though, that glass in front of it is very thick. If you try to break it, you'll find out the hard way that it's shatterproof. Sorry about that. Perhaps even more of a concern than the glass is the list beside the profiles. It looks like a set of rules. You might want to examine those, though they're not providing much of an explanation for why you're here or how you got here. So relax and get to know your fellow Participants. You might be stuck here for awhile. |

[Sayaka is. So lost. Help. Did she break the lady in front of her? ...Sayaka's going to try laughing too, like she understands when she completely doesn't.]

[ Pfffthahaha... ]
You're not wrong, though! The older you get, the more it's about willpower.
no subject
[Sayaka fidgets a bit in place, fiddling with her sleeves primarily. Even so, Elda's words are a little surprising.]
Well, you're still young! You've got a long way to go before willpower is all that's left, right? You could probably get by on your energy alone at this point!
[...SHE IS STILL UNDER THE ASSUMPTION SHE'S 23.]
no subject
[ Seriously, 233 is not young, by any stretch. ]
no subject
A-ah--well, I'm not--I didn't meant to act like that!
[...can she hide her face, she wants to hide her face, it's going super pink--]
I'm sorry, Marker-san, that's not how I meant it at all!
no subject
[ Oh, she's cute like this? She leans forward, her face ... hard to read, really. ]
Does that mean you're actually saying I'm not pretty?
no subject
Oh, no, no! You're very pretty, I just--I didn't want you to think I was trying to be like that, when I was just making a comment!
no subject
Well, don't you worry! I won't think of you as the least bit Sapphic. Besides, you're too young for me anyway.
[ In more than one way. ]
no subject
[What did she do to deserve this, god. Why.]
I'm not even supposed to be thinking about stuff like that, either. So that's very, very fair, Marker-san.
no subject
[ . . . Yes she took that as not thinking about being gay, not relationships ]
no subject
No?! No! I'm an Idol, I'm not supposed to be thinking about any of that stuff!
no subject
Wha- hey! Okay, I get it, sheesh!
[ She waves a hand dismissively.
... But is laughing. ]
no subject
I-I'm--I'm sorry, I'm sorry. That just...took me really off guard, was all.
no subject
[ . . . THaT'S CLEaRLY WHaT SHE MEaNT BY IDOL, RIGHT? ]
no subject

I'm not sure what that's gotta do with dating, but huh. I guess that means your voice's something to write home about?
no subject
Maybe a little cutesy, but that's usually the primary appeal of idols. We sound cute, and we look even cuter.

no subject
Ah...if that's what you'd like to go with, Marker-san, then sure...
[She's not quite sure what she's getting at here, but okay?]
no subject
Ah, she gets you.
Pat on shoulder ]
Well, you pull it off okay.
no subject
Though that gets Sayaka to flinch and step back--sorry, she's not good with touch.]
Um...thank you. I try my very best?
no subject
... Weird. Oh well. ]
Anywho, so what's off on yours if you think there's something off?
no subject
My age, and the last three dislikes at the end of the list. I'm actually 17 years old, so I don't know how they got that mixed up...but the dislikes? I have to wonder if they just put random things on there.
no subject
So you didn't get mauled by a bear in a bathroom?
[ She asks, tapping a finger against her lips ]
no subject
[like, that just sounds silly]
