WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? No, you may be right. Perhaps there is no answer-- after all, it circles back to one's own morality, correct?

Though, a friend of mine is trying to change all of that. He believes he can do something about the system if he's working on the inside, if you know what I mean.

Not my style, of course. But...who knows? It might just do something.

I see. Well, I suppose that's all there really is to discuss about this. After this it would just be discussing morals and that truly changes from person to person.

Keep away from the glitter if there's any in there. Not a fan of how it gets everywhere. Other than that, try to make sure it compliments my clothing.

[Sayaka immediately sets to work, then--picking out a nice, vibrant shade for Alex to start with, and apply it nicely. She wants to make sure it leaves one hell of an impression, just like any sort of punch statement she's seen...

Once she's done, she'll grab the compact and put the mirror in front of Alex, beaming.]

Well, being in a situation like this will do that to many.

I've been keeping track of the stock though, so if I see them run out, I suppose I can ask Alena about it.

Cause that's what she is! If not real close to one, anyway. Dolls by me, they're artificial life that can have a will and personality of its own, but they function to serve a purpose rather than as their own being.

Pretty useful, but they can be a real pain in the ass, like my current vessel.

[ He remembers that...vaguely. All of the different realities and worlds thing is still making his head spin--he's still not sure what to think of all that stuff, honestly.

So, who put the arte into place anyway? Some kind of old geezer that liked the idea of dimensional travel?

Okay, let her just...dig through the bag for a moment--she only remembers having a little bit of foundation left, but she knows she'll need to get started there to...well, mainly not to get her head torn off. Oh, don't worry, none of this stuff has any glitter in it. Personally? I'm not the biggest fan of it, even if it's something I'm more used to. [She smiles a bit, idly.] It's just something that matches with our looks, but it's an absolute pain to get rid of. I honestly don't know who decided that it should go on someone's face, but really, the only place glitter has is on clothing, and that's if it's already there from the start.

That's at least part of the reason I decided to do my own makeup, really.

[Weiss feels that tension, and she leans back on her hands, taking a deep breath.]

I know. It's no one's fault except the people that caused it.

...if we all get to go home, I'm leaving that place.

Luckily for me, I've never been asked to sing. It's been a blessing of good fortune, as I can't carry a tune at all, but I don't mind the rest. I'm mostly lauded for my academic achievements and contributions to school activities.

[On top of everything else she does, it's difficult, but Rin would agree it's absolutely rewarding. She's worked hard, and it's paid off nicely.]

...Well, I hope he manages to succeed. It sounds like something like that has the chance to break him down, if he stays there too long. That wouldn't be good for him at all...
