WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[He nods.]

Sooomething like that, I would imagine. Of course, I could be mistaken, they might actually allow destruction of the walls, but I wouldn't count on it quite yet.

But part of the rules is that there isn't exactly a limit on what we can do, so imagine taking things apart won't be a problem.

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2017-09-27 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[Emho...? She doesn't get it.]

They didn't even need to add anything. Getting out would be enough alllll on its own, sooner or later.
ninehundredlives: ([ knock knock ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2017-09-27 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe. It seems like everything else here is.

[There's still a dark bitter edge to her words, but her breath is evening out, and she feels solid enough to turn around and actually look at Alex.]

Just more impossible things, I guess. [Like those photos.]
perpend: (☂ come let's mix where rockefellers)

[personal profile] perpend 2017-09-27 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
It's a hard thing to escape from, here. There are all sorts of people here. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter if they are "good" or "bad" people.
perpend: (☂ to look like gary cooper)

[personal profile] perpend 2017-09-28 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
....This will make me sound crazy, but I've been doing a lot of research into the idea that there is an outside force manipulating things. I've called it the "manipulator" for obvious reasons.

I'm low on proof, but...

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-28 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, no skin off my nose if you don't, but it might get you up brighter in the morning. Do you brush your hair before you set out?

[ IN FaCT... she's going to walk around to do a hair check. Is this hair maintained. ]
notaccurate: (75)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-28 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
I do, just a moment.

[He did pilfer a couple glasses from the kitchen for drinking water at night, and he is pedantic enough to fully clean them every day instead of just reusing them over and over. Though they are full-size glasses, not ones for Bourbon.]

I think we will have to only fill them partway.
matchbreaker: (wait that's the wrong lyrics)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-28 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
It was! It... really was.

[ . . . It still feels so strange so... gross to think of it in past tense. But no, now that's what it is. ]
matchbreaker: (the one below was the worse option)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-28 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
[ Okay, that makes sense. She'll just nod in agreement with that!! ]
ninehundredlives: ([ inside ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2017-09-28 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
[....ah. She hadn't realized.]

Well. I guess I'll leave you to it. [You know, the totally legit blood bag investigation you were doing. Susan has gotten what she came in here for anyway, she's totally not just fleeing this conversation topic.]
heritrix: (a natural reaction to shinji)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-09-28 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
[If Cabanela's going into conspiracy theory territory with her, Rin might have to ask him later on if this was an actual conversation they had or just a weird fever dream she had. But if it's any consolation, she's not looking at him like he sounds crazy. She's watching the clock instead, brow wrinkling in a combination of pain and puzzlement.]

Outside force?

[Why does he say that like that should be some otherworldly thing?]
matchbreaker: (Uses this a ton)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-28 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
[ good, she didn't really want to either honestly.

... Back to the total legit blood bag investigation. ]
sleepytimegal: (t-shirts‚ step-dads)

[personal profile] sleepytimegal 2017-09-28 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
[ Alex regards her with some kind of sympathy. She doesn't... She shouldn't ask. That's not her place, honestly. She has a feeling she can connect with it, but...

She just sighs. ]
If... If I see anymore...do you want me to put 'em on blast too? Just...straight to the fire. I can do that.
sleepytimegal: (then i hope you find it)

[personal profile] sleepytimegal 2017-09-28 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
...You think...?
ninehundredlives: ([ no one to ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2017-09-28 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Susan folds her arms, looking away uneasily. She saw the thing with the photos; she's sure Alex would get it. But...]

...yeah. Yeah, that'd be nice.
sleepytimegal: (birthdays‚ parking)

[personal profile] sleepytimegal 2017-09-29 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
[ A smile doesn't feel right. An easy look, instead. ]

You got it.
ninehundredlives: ([ alone soaked in rain ])

[personal profile] ninehundredlives 2017-09-29 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
...thanks.
spiritform: (pic#10955866)

[personal profile] spiritform 2017-09-29 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
Yes-- although I am accustomed to Sylph straightening it for me each morning.

[It might appear not at a distance but up close it's clear she puts a lot of care into it. Even now that she has to do it for herself....]
matchbreaker: (Is annoying!)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-29 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Good! If you didn't, then I might need to scold you for having it this long in the first place.

[ elda, you hair is to your feet...

But she is brushing her fingers through Milla's hair... now. to make sure there's no kinks. ]
spiritform: (pic#10955863)

[personal profile] spiritform 2017-09-29 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Milla smiles at that--]

I am not scolded very often.

[For different reasons. Anyway-- as for her hair...]

I am very proud of this hairstyle.
matchbreaker: (This is her son henru)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-29 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
Well yeah, who scolds a god?!

[ Pfffthahah. She laughs a little at this and... well, there we go. Okay, no kinks yet. ]
spiritform: (pic#10955861)

[personal profile] spiritform 2017-09-29 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Jude would scold me from time to time. But only when it was fitting. Even someone like me has had some bad habits.

[Having someone play with your hair feels nice. She could get used to this.]
matchbreaker: (Kanye West)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-29 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
The fact you can recognize that is somewhat unsettling, honestly.

[ Because a god being self aware is... disturbing?

... Okay, she approves of this hair so far. She's going further up to try to touch at the weight green part of it. ]
spiritform: (pic#10971355)

[personal profile] spiritform 2017-09-29 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
I was not always aware of that fact. Because of that I caused people a lot of trouble. I even almost lost the use of my legs.

[Sometimes life pushes self-awareness on you.]

But because of the others I was able to overcome that. I do not want to forget the lessons I have learned, nor make the mistakes I have in the past again.
matchbreaker: (Man did this one even turn out ok)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-29 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
[ Huh. ]

... Not sure how a god messes up their legs like that. Or even a ghost? But hey, probably for the best that you figured that out. On that note though, what's your hot take on where we're at, little over a week and a half into all this?
