WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? She's my best friend and a very talented mage. Magic is what she loves to study, but she also studies technology as well.

[And there the roomba goes into the wall before it does a 180 and turns around.]

I was taught how the use the washer so I can wash my clothes now. Though I don't know how to use the microwave yet-- but I know the basics of a stove so that was rather simple to figure out.

Of course they do! But that means you aren't one of them?

[ And isn't that amazing?! In fact, her eyes are alight. Because humans fucking suck??? ]

The, erm... [She taps her chin.] Loom? Or is that something else...?

I definitely wouldn't say no to it. [Considering how dire the last few days were.]

Not really, if you were in hospital for a while. Or even just this week.

[She doesn't know why Fern showed up in that, exactly, and once she got past the green it seemed better not to ask. Sometimes people don't want to talk about things.]

You can get used to a lot of things.

[A pause, and she shakes her head.]

But you needn't talk about it if you would rather not.

She sounds like a lovely person. I hope that you'll be able to return to her soon.

[A nod.]

I only recently learned of it, but if you would like me to show you how to operate the microwave, I would be glad to.

[ Chitoge keeps scrubbing at her hands; the bleeding itself is finally starting to subside, but the sink itself is clearly bloodstained, even as the water keeps running. At the rate she's going, all she's doing is agitating her wounds by rubbing at them, but she doesn't particularly seem to notice or care.

She tenses for a moment, upon hearing the exhale, but when she turns around to see Elda, she lets out a sigh herself. ]

Oh, it's just you...

Tarrlok mentioned something like that. A martial art called "Bending" that involves manipulating the elements. I imagine he wouldn't like the comparison, but the fact remains that it's still something that was suppressed.

But- he- we can't- he's all alone- we can't leave him!

[She's still blubbering and freaking out but she pretty much stops resisting by the hallway. I mean, there's a token attempt at a crawl back towards the foyer but she's too destroyed to work up much more.]

...oh god, does it...even work? I imagine Smith-san would probably appreciate the absurd, but that rates right up there.

Still, people are amazing. It... makes me sad that I'm not like them.

[She gives a sad smile.]

[ Chitoge's face goes a little bit red as she fumbles with a knot; it's embarrassing to admit she spent the better half of the afternoon beating the shit out of the wall, especially to someone she doesn't know well. But at the same time, she's not a good liar at all. ]

I...worked out a little too hard, is all.

[ Not technically a lie; in some regard, it could be considered exercise... ]

They'll be fine in a day or two. It's nothing to worry about.

Me too. I miss her a lot.

[She then nods at Adelina.]

I would like to learn it from you if you would! It seems like a convenient machine.

[bloodbiter]

Yes, but it wouldn't be caused by you. I offered, after all.

[She considers. If the dream was real, that had to be... another few months.]

Its been a... a long time.

[matchbreaker]

What, I'm not threatening?

[ That's... nice in some ways but deeply annoying in others. For her part, she makes her way past some of the beds and to the medicine cabinets. Guess. She needs to contrive some non-blood reason to be here. ]

Well, if there's an emergency need for it, I'd definitely appreciate it.

Yeah, I heard that too. Apparently the guy can normally move around water and stuff with water in it. Sounds pretty insane if you ask me.

[bloodbiter]

[She nods.]

I will have to hope that there are no more emergencies, however.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that--

[ He takes a pause because he forgot the machete there. But you know what? If Estelle is walking around with a machete, it's something she can use in case someone decides to try anything.

So, he's okay with it. Still. ]

...Yeah, you should. Hopefully not everyone's gonna wind up walking around here with machetes, though.

[ At the very least, she doesn't think they have to worry about anyone attacking Alena again, after that. But that being said, seeing this, thinking about it...

The more she mulls on it, the more she looks upset, rather than angry. ]

...They were all so damn young.

[ Not that she isn't young herself, and not that she says it in a way that's trying to write them off. Tsugumi is younger than she is, and she's the strongest person she knows. Jean was a soldier. The way Yosuke held that knife, it wasn't the stance of someone who's never used a knife before.

But all of them, they had their whole lives ahead of them. ]

[ Flatly, and she's going to poke Estelle in the boob here with a long lady fingernail to make this point. ]
