WEEK 2.
Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[ You could just be like Relius, but who knows. ]

[ Mostly, he doesn't want to say. Figure it out for yourself, basically. ]

[ By this point they are probably far away enough from the group of people that gathered, so Terumi is just going to move to attack Mikoto with a kitchen knife. The kitchen knife he's been carrying around since right after their fight or whatever you want to call it when they arrived.
It's not a stabbing motion but a slicing one, (slice and dice by his movelist), and though it doesn't pack the punch it would if he wasn't depowered, he's still pretty efficient with blades regardless. ]

Maybe it's the surprise, maybe it's because it hasn't sunken in yet that he's been cut, or maybe it's adrenaline but—it doesn't hurt as much as it could. The fact that it stings at all is still a surprise to him, as is the peculiar feeling of something warm dripping down his backside. ] That how you wanna play this?
[ It's interesting if nothing else. Exhilarating. Yeah, this is good. But he has to retaliate somehow, wouldn't be right if he didn't. Suoh starts off by trying to punch Terumi's face, how's that gonna go? ]

The counterattack he's ready for, he had expected Mikoto wouldn't take the attack without reacting in some way, but he's also much slower than he should be. So while he doesn't get hit in the face directly, he sure does take a glancing blow. It's annoying, but for Terumi it's exhilarating too. That will probably leave some kind of mark, but he's already moving to make his next attack, which is to try to trip Mikoto. He's not sure if it'll work, but he's going to follow that through with another slice anyway, centrally aimed so it's harder to dodge. ]

That one hurts more than the last, but that's not a bad thing. Blades like this can hurt him now, huh? A thought flashes through his mind and it only takes him a second to act on it—he tries to grab hold of the knife, yes on the blade, with his bare hand just to see if it'll cut his hand. It doesn't matter if he succeeds or not, he's not too disturbed either way. Actually, he's definitely interested. ] I almost forgot, what with the way you kept me waitin' all week.
[ How about a headbutt? Might as well try that, so here he goes. As hard as he possibly can because, eh, why the fuck not. ]
no subject
You were waitin' for me huh? I'm flattered~. [ His grin widens, but only momentarily before he realizes that his opponent is going for a headbutt of all things. Even when he has his powers, Terumi likes to keep proximity on his terms, it's not like he's incredibly bulky. This is usually where Ouroboros comes in, being a chain and all, but he's sorely missing it here. The most he can do is twist himself (he really is snakelike) and try to take it in chest rather than his head.
That's going to leave one hell of a bruise, and it's lucky he didn't break a rib, but fighting game physics! It does knock the wind out of him, and he drops to his knees momentarily. A string of curses escapes his lips, but he's enjoying this too, even in spite of how much it hurts.
As much as Terumi wants to mouth off, he'd much rather retaliate instead. He sets off at as much of a sprint he can manage (which is still decently fast even with the headbutt thanks agility frames), for some kind of unholy aerial knife attack. He's not so much as aiming at a specific rather than in general. ]

But when Terumi stands and sprints (tch, fast one), he steps as far as he can out of the way of the knife. Terumi is quick though, so he gets a light cut on him. At least he's learning; sharp things are bad, Suoh. ] Why wouldn't I? Playin' around with you might be the most fun I've had here. [ Fuck the murders and fuck the trials, tbqh.
But, hm. Okay, he moves further back. He's gonna wait and see what Terumi does next. ]

[ Like, maybe the previous scuffle they had was a fluke or something, but this confirms it. Terumi for his part is content to take a survey of the situation, his chest hurts like hell and he's used to having at least two balisong knives and not just a kitchen knife. He has a few options here, and he doesn't really want to stop. On the other hand, catching his breath would be good, and he's always here to dialogue during a fight because Blazblue. ]

[ He isn't too surprised, more put off than anything. It isn't a title he'd pick for himself—not that he knows what he would pick. He's been "King" so long it's hard to consider any other title, even if that one doesn't quite fit either. Ah well, whatever. If they're taking a quick break, he might as well... what? He's not sure, and now that he's just standing here he's starting to feel dizzy.
Tch. Damn. ] Think you might've won.
no subject
It's a pain in the ass being on a "level" playing field. [ Which is to say he is much more tired than he should be, and he won't even gloat besides a large sneer because owwww. ]
no subject
You too? [ Heh. Should've known. He touches the blood on his chest with his left hand and looks down at it. Damn, that one's bad. ] Gotta say, not used to bleedin' this much. Shame we couldn't go at it with everything we've got.
no subject
If they wanted a real show, they wouldn't have sealed us like this. Screw being fair, it's not the world works anywhere.
no subject
It's more of a short, low exhale that shows he's very clearly amused. ] That their excuse for all this? "Leveling the playing field" is a pretty shitty justification when none of us have a "fair" shot at the ones in charge. ... 'course, that's always how this shit goes.
no subject
[ Why are there so many teenagers here, really. Terumi shrugs though, fixing his coat. That is definitely going to leave one hell of a bruise, but eh. ]
