[...You know, of all reactions he could be having to this, it probably shouldn't be the one that he's having right now.

This does effectively dampen the manic high that he was on after the execution, but it doesn't seem to startle or upset him, nor does he turn to leave; he just goes very still, and he tilts his head a little, and after a long moment he approaches the wall and just starts looking it over.

He seems impassive about the whole thing; just...reading silently to himself, and he doesn't seem to know what to do with his face so he's just sort of...not doing anything. The effect is a little unsettling, but there we go.]
