Rule 17 hits like a gutpunch. The plan she'd talked about, as improbable as it already was, had just become much harder.

But something - someone - digs its heels in inside her, the same way it did prior to their most recent trial. The presence of their latest, insurmountable hurdle, has the odd effect of only making Youko more determined.

They're going to win.

There's hot soup, rice, and tea in the kitchen. We're holding a meeting tomorrow morning in the conference room. I want you to be there.

Week 7.

WEEK 7 Seven people died this past week. Logan, Marty McFly, Mordecai Benmont Jiminy, Hibiki Ganaha, Yuuri Shibuya, Rick Sanchez, and Tabby Smith have all joined the deceased. It's starting to get a little lonely in here, isn't it? Especially now that there's a rule in place regarding establishing contact with your dead friends... Saturday is dedicated to rest and sleep; on Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. The stairwells are clear of bodies; there's no more death to be dealt with for the time being. Unless, of course, you happened to recover something particularly unfortunate in your dreams... Once again, there's a new floor to explore, though it's...debatable how much of a reward it actually is. There aren't any more stairs, either; it seems as though you've reached the top floor. Furthermore, there are more rule changes this week - two more have been added outside of Rule Seventeen, effective immediately. Good work everyone, once again one of the culprits has ruined something for everybody. At least it wasn't the silverware this time. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 11
