This week has been eventful for the lot of you, if a bit political for some; another resistance meeting, petitions everywhere, group dinners, and the new addition of a bunch of chickens to the group have ensured that at the very least, you've all had reason to keep busy. Of course, there's still that incentive to keep in mind, as well as the fact that there's been a murder every Friday since everyone arrived. Either way, the clock chimes in the morning, as it always does; the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock themselves, and all seems quiet. Thankfully, today the ballroom is blessedly corpse-free, as is the rest of the first floor. Maybe it would be good to move upstairs, though, just to make sure the rest of the Academy is likewise. >Explore?

[Well, since Hibiki is now sleeping with the hen so no one eats Dorika, she'll head to the gym for her morning work-out. Surely, no one will ruin her second work-out area.]

[At this point, Susan has some suspicions regarding Fridays.

She's just gonna...head up to the infirmary ahead of time. You know, just in case anybody ends up needing first aid today, instead of...other things.]

That said, someone was definitely in here, but it seems they left alive.]

[Weiss has a new outfit on today. She peeks into the ballroom first, thanking heavens it's empty. She sees a few people going upstairs, so she follows, looking into the conference room.]

It definitely looks like there was a struggle in here.

A good amount of the sewing room is in disarray, scattered supplies and upset furniture but first and foremost, the heavy scent of blood in the air; there's a good amount of it in the room, but most of it is near the center of the room, where there's a fair amount of floor space left clear by the arrangement of the tables and old-fashioned machines.

It's here that there's not only blood, but what's very unmistakably a person lying on the floor.]

There's blood pooled around the head of the victim, but even if you want to avert your eyes from that it will soon be apparent who this is; the light-colored hair is stained with crimson, and so is the thick, puffy blue parka still worn by the victim, but they're both distinctive even so - as is the expression of fear still discernible on her face beneath the bloodsoaked entry wound on her forehead.

Ashley Williams is dead.]
