Initiative.
| The Conductor - Solf J Kimblee - is dead. You've won. You have three new keys, a philosopher's stone, and twenty-three mysterious potions at your disposal. You've had enough of people leading you around, haven't you? So now it's your turn to take initiative. What will you do now? |

[And even if that was just because she hated humans and he wasn't her king, it helped. More than he can ever really express.]
I'm very interested in learning more about your kingdom. I'd like to meet your king as well.

[She seems kind of surprised, honestly--if anything, she thought it would've been disrespectful, perhaps? Not that she would've changed, but that's actually excellent to know.]
Well, you're welcome. You are a person first and foremost, after all.
[...She pauses a bit again, before finally straightening herself out.]
...I think I owe you a bit of an explanation in regards to that. Do you have a minute or two?
no subject
Of course. I'm very interested in learning more about where you're from.
[And he needs a minute to calm down anyway, so this will hopefully help!]

...Alright, do you want the long version of the kingdom's state? Or the short version? I don't know if I want to let everyone know about this, everything considering...
[Even if she acknowledges that they do have the right to know, don't they? ...And god, don't even make her start explaining her status with Byakuren she's still so confused.]
...I still don't understand how she forgives me, even if she knows everything now...

I don't mind listening to the long version, but since everyone is nearby perhaps the shorter one would be better.
[As far as Byakuren goes... well.]
What happened between you two was different. You agreed to fight and yes, you killed her. But would you be angry with her if she had won instead? It seems as though it was a fair fight.
[Undertale True Pacifist Route spoilers]
[She stops herself short. She's a goddamn knight, she's not going to let this happen now.]
The short version...a long time ago, monsters and humans went to war--we lost, to put it simply, and the humans sealed us under a mountain with a magic barrier. The only way through it was with a human's and a monster's soul, and the only way to break it was with the power of seven human souls. That's why I originally thought everything was destroyed at home. Knowing his power now, I wouldn't want to think of what happened...
Times were definitely dark and hopeless for a while, but we were still holding onto the hope that we'd get our freedom.
[She takes a breath in.]
When I woke up after being executed--when my memories caught up, it turned out that we reached the surface. Weirdly enough? The seventh human who fell into the mountain managed to save us all. They didn't hurt anyone, they got hurt more than enough times to justify some kind of revenge, but...
[Undyne smiles, slightly.]
They're the reason we became free. I don't know what the state of everything is back home, but I know that King ASGORE must still be leading everyone into prosperity! Even in a world full of humans who we haven't seen in so many years! I wish I knew it sooner--that I could go back and tell myself that...
[...ah, right, there's. Still the elephant in the room of captain fuckhead's universal fucking around, isn't there. Undyne's tangent kind of dies there.]

[He's from a world where humans kill monsters aaaaaall the time but uh. He's pretty sure the monsters in Albion aren't like Undyne? Maybe the Balverines are, but they're vicious and probably Evil-aligned so uh.]
I sincerely hope we can manage to return to our worlds. I wouldn't want you to miss out on experiencing anything else the surface world has to offer you all.
[Hopefully everything didn't go to shit, um.]

Just avoid yellow flowers for the next eternity, okay.]...Fuhu. Is it bad that the first thing I want to see is the sun rise again? I'm looking forward to absolutely everything the world has to offer if we can find our ways back, but that's what I want the most!

[...]
Though ah... hopefully we won't all see the sun rise.
[glances back in the room at dio
let's try not to murder our vampire friend...]

[...Oh. Oh. Undyne kind of forgot about that, oops.
...Still, she is going to look at Dio from where she is and seems annoyed.]
Does this mean we're going to have to do all of our traveling at night? LAAAAAAAAAME! Can't we just throw a bunch of blankets over him and put him in...I don't know, something?
[...then again, seeing actual stars might not be so bad, but she kind of blurted before she spoke. Oops.]

Well, I'm certain he won't be pleased if we attempt to travel during the day. Perhaps he can stay indoors.
...Though I would hope that it won't be necessary to travel much. As much as I enjoy it, I do want to return home soon.
