[He shifts a bit so he can look down at Cabanela. Are you going to lie on the floor for storytime?]

Yomiel killed me. That's a fact. When I woke up, I was a ghost, and someone wearing his face was there, telling me he could go back into the past to save me. That's Sissel, and I don't know why he looked like Yomiel but that's not important.

After saving someone else first, he did save me. Or tried to, anyway. He and a litttle dog named Missile tried to save me, but Missile switched around a bullet and a metal helmet and the end result was it killed me as well.

I remember dying both times.

That show the Conductor put on for me, that makes three.

[This is said a little too casually, but he's way too happy about being alive to be bitter right now.]

...I would say I'm sorry that happened to you, but honestly it doesn't feel all that terrible, does it?

Neither can I. I'm sure I'll have plenty of issues to sort through later, but for now... this is nice.

[Even if we are parked on the floor of an unfamiliar room that's definitely a morgue.]

[What the hell is going to happen. Are they even going to be able to go home? Are they trapped here, or...?

He doesn't even know. He's not sure he wants to think about it right now.]

........I'm not sure I can go back home. Even if I could, I don't know if I'd want to.

What do you mean? Why can't you return home?

[He's assuming that returning home will be a thing but uh. There's no guarantee of that... It's just easiest to not focus on it and assume though!!]

It's just... a feeling I have.

Sissel can change the past. One way or another, that mission of his on that night nearly two months ago was going to lead him back to Yomiel. Maybe to that incident ten years ago.

[decrees]

...So you think... he was going to change everything. What would that mean if you did go back?

[Would he adjust to what had happened with the change? Would he forget all about this?

...Something about that idea sends chills down Logan's spine, but he's not sure if it's the memory loss aspect or something else entirely.]

I.... I don't know.

I don't even know if he could change something of that magnitude, but I....

Call it cowardice, but I don't want to see how much has changed.

[decrees]

...No, I... I believe I understand. If you were to return home only to find that everything had changed without you... perhaps it wouldn't feel like home anymore.

[And that's a terrifying thought.

Logan is quiet for a moment while he considers.]

I cannot guarantee you anything since my own future is up in the air right now, but should it be possible, I wouldn't mind if you wanted to return to Albion with me.

[And you know. Reaver. No escaping him.]

[He actually looks up at that, giving a slight smile.]

Thank you, Logan. I.... that means a lot to me.

If it's at all possible, I'll return with you to Albion.

[decrees]

I can't guarantee you safety; Albion is dangerous and I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing there. I did tell my sister I would leave the country and I'm not sure how receptive she'll be to seeing me again.

Don't worry about that. I may be thin, but I know how to use a gun.

[...This also means you get to see first-hand how badly Logan fucked everything up and how much everyone hates him FOR DAMN GOOD REASON so uh. That'll be fun!!]

...We'll talk more about that later, once we've determined what we can do regarding going home.

We'll figure something out. I want to return home more than anything, but... I really would miss everyone.

[God, this is going to be.... really difficult.]

...Most of them will want to return home.

[Honestly, he's glad Reaver was here with him, even after he fucked everything up there. He won't be returning alone, even if no one else can come to Albion with them.]

I suppose speculating won't solve anything though. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I suppose I can't blame them for returning home, assuming it's possible at all.

[Cabanela just doesn't want to do it himself.]

No, of course not. Everyone has something or someone to return to.

[...And Cabanela's timeline might be so fucked up that he can't go back. That's a terrifying thought. Logan's always had the opportunity, at least. His sister might be pissed, but she's spared him once and he doesn't think he'll be in any danger returning to Albion.]

...We'll have to see what happens, I suppose.
