You're doing a great job. The last time I went without playing for a little while I was rusty for nearly a month.

As she changes songs he falls silent, just listening. Actually, you know what, he'll go grab a chair and pull it up near-ish to the piano so he's not just hovering there. That's better. Elda's playing really is beautiful.]

[ to his ears, who both know piano and are from a bit of a perfectionist, especially up close is is obvious that she's making mistakes. Notes which don't seem to match, things held too long or too short, sometimes even a pedal not held at the right sounding time until she recalls it and corrects.

However, she's not pausing at any of these mistakes, instead just barrelling on through. If you don't know the piece, while you can infer the mistake, the effect is that she's simply doing this with confidence.

Honestly, she's... a little flattered someone would want to sit and listen. ]

[He is a perfectionist and while he doesn't recognize the song he can pick up on several of the errors. It's still nice to listen to someone else play; he hasn't gotten that chance since he was a child and it's sort of strange to do it again. It's nice though; better than listening to the same songs he's memorized played over and over again until he can hit each note perfectly. There's something charming about how she barrels right on through with the confidence he can never really muster up once he hits a wrong note.

It's nice, and after a long day like today it's something he didn't realize he needed.]

It's nice to listen to anyway. I haven't had the chance of enjoying someone else's playing in quite some time.

I mean, there's creative uses for whatever's in that storage room and a lot of people get mileage out of cooking... but there really isn't.

I can't say I'd mind a deck of cards for solo play, but ... other people. As frustrating as most of the people here are.

We have a very interesting group of people here. Everyone seems to be from a different world as well which is fascinating.

Estellise and that Lowell guy know each other from their own world and then you and Kimblee have both mentioned Amestris. Other than that, seems like.

Are they from the same world? Interesting. Kimblee and I... Well, we're from similar worlds, but I don't believe it's the same one.

Mm, if you ask me if I was able to hear about some other version of stuff I actually knew that'd be odder than mermaids or killer giants or titans or whatever, honestly.

That's precisely part of the problem I'm having with it, honestly. There's a man by the name of Zolf J Kimbley where I come from, so seeing his name spelled as Solf is very strange.

["Solf" doesn't sound like a name. Not like Zolf's doing a lot better.]

Wait, so that is more than just coincidence? Or is the coincidence just too uncanny?

I'm not entirely sure. Whatever it is is bizarre. There are some other differences between our versions of Amestris, but that's the one that I've been stuck on.
