It's because you can get salmonella from the raw eggs in it if they're not handled right, but that's totally not as big of a concern these days! Pasteurization and stuff totally keeps that at bay, as well as like, actually keeping eggs at a temperature that's too much for salmonella to handle. Besides, there's rarely anyone who actually gets sick from it—it happens sometimes, but it's not risky enough to not eat cookie dough!

Anyway, if I die it's totally not anyone's fault but my own, right? Or do you think they'd count you making it and then letting me have it as being some kinda murder thing...? [ ...??? ] I mean, it's not like you'd intentionally get me sick or anything, so it's totally not like, a poisoning thing.

No, it has something to do with the flour too. If, like, disease gets into it and you eat it raw it's, like, bad or whatever? [Sometimes Tabby actually does know things, however bizarre they sound when she explains them.] But, like, with the way things went today I think it would count if I, like, killed you with cookie dough? But it doesn't count if, like, you don't die so don't die.

I won't! [ She says this cheerfully, like she too can just choose not to die. ] I'm totally willing to bet they don't have contaminated stuff here though. The killing game thing loses its purpose if we're like, accidentally killing ourselves when we make stuff, doesn't it?

Did anyone, like, ask about what's keeping someone from making a bunch of poison food and trying to take everyone out? [She doesn't know what everyone has been chatting to Alena about.] Like, that seems it would defeat the purpose too? Is there a rule about that?

That's what I mean, like, if I kill everyone do I get away with it or, like, does there have to be someone who believes I didn't do it? Not that I would kill everyone because, like, that would be messy and I'm not really, like, about that but it's weird to me.

You'd totally think they'd have some clarification about that to be begin with! Unless it's never occurred to them that someone miiiight try to off everyone in one fell swoop...? Which seems dumb, 'cause it's like, definitely the most obvious choice for anyone who's totally bad or desperate enough to leave here.

I probably wouldn't do it either though. Poison's like, not really my style, and it's noooot really that fun to watch either... People get all sick and it's totally gross. [ ugh. ]

I guess they're, like, banking on the fact that you can't possibly poison everyone or whatever? Either someone would notice or, like, just not take the food. [Shocker, but not everyone likes cookies???] That seems kind of stupid, but sometimes people can't see the forest as the trees or whatever.
