WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

That's fine.

[She's not going to insist, hah]

But it's strange the toaster was taken, of all things, and I doubt it was so nobody else had toast in the mornings. What could they want to do with it...?
destage: (CHATTER ♡ Pleasant days)

[personal profile] destage 2017-09-21 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
...It will, Weiss-san. You and Winter-san going to be better in every single way than him. I can assure you that much--you don't have to worry about that, around all of us here.

Maybe there just hasn't been enough time for more. It was the first Sunday we spent here, it could be next Sunday there will be another dream like this one.
captainobnoxious: (19 yeah that's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2017-09-21 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
[hahaha italy's dead mate

... But like, the words are pretty she guesses? Sigrun goes to loom over his shoulder, staring blankly at the poetry.]

What's all this mumble jumble?
sadisticwarfare: (♕ 47)

[personal profile] sadisticwarfare 2017-09-21 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Interesting. That's an angle I hadn't considered before...

[He takes a moment to write something down in that notebook of his before returning his attention to Kyrie.]

It's best not to put too much stock into what we saw, then. If this is their doing somehow then the entire thing is most likely fabricated, wouldn't you say?
chessturner: 49 (49)

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-21 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly! They want us to kill, this may be another way to get us to kill. Reminding us of what's back at our homes, making us want to return...

[It's a more effective tactic than the motive they gave on Tuesday, in Kyrie's opinion]

At least for some of us. I guess they'd aim for something different for each one of us.

I got a big turnip I'm not going to eat?
sadisticwarfare: (♕ 33)

[personal profile] sadisticwarfare 2017-09-21 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
That's certainly a unique way of going about it. The scenario they set up for me would make me want to return home, so that's very plausible.

I suppose there's no way to know for sure, since I doubt Alena would be willing to talk about it.
captainobnoxious: (88 i don't see anything)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2017-09-21 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
[Turns out there's nothing in the piano

but the strings are fucking unbreakable, as Sigrun finds out, and not even a steak knife helps it. Sorry you had to see that, Susan.]

... Huh. These things break so easy back home.
sadisticwarfare: (♕ 27)

[personal profile] sadisticwarfare 2017-09-21 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
I'll pass. I've never been particularly fond of turnips. I do appreciate the offer, but you don't owe me anything for these.
shuttermouse: (SPEAK ❈ is he talking to the rose again)

[ ...yeah don't trust tabby with grenades. ]

Yeah, I agree. I don't think grenades are going to be useful in here.

[ That said, she's going to walk over to the machine and insert a coin... and out comes a taser. ]

...Woah.
bloodbiter: (you cannot save my bacon)

[personal profile] bloodbiter 2017-09-21 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not convinced they care for our well being that much.
bloodbiter: (where did those bullets hit me?)

[personal profile] bloodbiter 2017-09-21 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Truly? That sounds incredible! What degree of control do you have over it?

[He's absolutely going to be asked approximately 900 more questions and I'm personally sorry for this.]

It would be my pleasure.
notaccurate: (08)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-21 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
Well yes, of course. How do you think they made toast before your contraption was invented?
sleepytimegal: (if you're wanting something else)

[personal profile] sleepytimegal 2017-09-21 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
[ It's an understatement to say this week hasn't been great, but the clock still chimes and they're still expected to carry on. Alex is up and about at a decent hour, and it seems like she's been sleeping better, if the lack of dark circles under her eyes are any indication. She heads to the kitchen, displeased to see the toaster's still gone. ]

C'mon guys, one day it was kinda funny, but two...? [ Ugh. Can she microwave toast...? Oh well, breakfast of cereal it is.

She spends much of the day just kind of wandering around, but eventually she arrives at what she's decided is her nemesis: the vending machine. Sucker popped out something distressing to say the least on Sunday, so she's been avoiding it, but...she has some coins and there was a full rotisserie chicken in there too, so. ]

Okay, buddy. Let's dance. [ The results are...better? No incredibly upsetting photos, but nothing on the level of a full cooked meal either. Some eyeliner, and some clothes, and some flowers, and...a taser? Yeesh.

Aaand toward the end of the day, she's in the infirmary. Not for long, because it seems she knows exactly what she's looking for in the medicine cabinet, but you might catch her there, if the timing's right. ]

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-21 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
It is very strange indeed. There seems to be books on every other topic, but nothing related to science. Not even a book on geology.
shuttermouse: (TINY ❈ did you send him a dick pic)

library

[personal profile] shuttermouse 2017-09-21 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I did. Kimblee-san was offended by it when I mentioned it at the meeting.

[ shit poor kimblee was not prepared for: out of context tokyo ghoul. ]
notaccurate: (71)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-21 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
[Shit what field of science is close to Sfeer Theory?]

Physics, chemistry, either of those would be fine. If we are to be trapped here, then some light reading for the evening would be nice.
sadisticwarfare: (♕ 29)

[personal profile] sadisticwarfare 2017-09-21 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, yes, that's right. You certainly did have a very strange dream from the sound of it.

[oh my god kimblee's not the only one offended by it]
notaccurate: (58)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-21 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
[Luca can't even get offended at that, poetry absolutely is mumbo jumbo.]

This particular bit is a rather artistic retelling of the 'trial of the soldiers' in Valence. Which is surprising, since that only happened a few years ago. I didn't expect poetry about it to exist yet.
shuttermouse: (UGH ❈ don't do the thing)

kitchen

[personal profile] shuttermouse 2017-09-21 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
The toaster's still missing?

[ Ughhh. Chie hasn't exactly been using the toaster that much but it's annoying. What if she suddenly wants toast?? ]
notaccurate: (67)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2017-09-21 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
It seems so, yes. It came out of that machine in the other room, the one with all of the strange objects in it.
bloodisthicker: because that would be the worst (did i break a nail)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2017-09-21 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yes... medicine is definitely very different from this where I'm from to begin with, so I'm not quite sure where to even start with many of these. I suppose Susan and Rideaux would be a good place to start, at the very least.
sleepytimegal: now (and i can't find you on my radio now)

[personal profile] sleepytimegal 2017-09-21 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
[ Alex won't say anything until they get there, but at least most of her things are small and able to be gathered up easily. Once they are, well... Alex spreads the photos out on her desk, setting the similar ones next to each other. She... ]

I... I think...I swear, what I'm gonna say's gonna sound crazy, but- i-it's true. ...At least, if the dream's right, then... I think my friends and I got stuck in a...weird alternate dimension.

I don't know, maybe she would. She's more approachable than I expected.

[Kyrie's definitely not the prankster type, but somehow talking with Alena led to shenanigans. It was hilarious]
