WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? Lift up the top? You'd be able to hear if there was something resting on the strings, but I guess you could always tape something on the inside of the lid.

Well, now we know we can't! I would've asked Al how to repair it if I did, it's not like I'm getting anything out of breaking it.

Maybe not, but she could like pianos enough to help out! It's not like she's doing anything else besides talking to us on her usual days.

Probably not. I doubt she cares that much about it. It sounds like she mostly just doesn't like being treated like an idiot.

Well, that's only human! No one likes being treated that way. That's good to hear though, I wouldn't call us friends or anything but we're on alright terms.

[... This is a lie. Sigrun considers them on more than alright terms, for what Alena does and stuff, but realistically it's just alright.]

Are you, really? She was complaining about people pretending to be friendly to her. Like she'd believe they really wanted to make nice.

I just kind of treat everyone the same, so I don't know why anyone'd pretend. Like, I've got my problems with her too, but she knows them. I think she's pretty fun to talk to outside her job.

I think that's about where I am with her. Minus the "fun" part, maybe. But she knows perfectly well how I feel about her.

...she knows about a lot of things. Have you noticed?

Yeah, it'd be hard not to. But there's some things she doesn't too, like... like about fylgja. Which are... how'd Rin describe them.

Spirit animals! But I call them guardian spirits, since that's what they do. But yeah, no, she knows about enough stuff that that's kind of weird.

It's all...personal. What we've talked about, that she knows about me. Maybe because the f...the spirit animals are cultural, and not about your life in particular?

Maybe? I haven't really talked about me around her, so I don't know. Think I'll take your word on that though.

I don't...like talking about myself, too much. But she had some questions about...some things, last time I saw her.
