WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? Nothing...really happened that would leave any marks. At least, I couldn't find any. The people with injuries are...interesting, though.

I just kind of treat everyone the same, so I don't know why anyone'd pretend. Like, I've got my problems with her too, but she knows them. I think she's pretty fun to talk to outside her job.

[Mouth a tight line, Rin just holds the bottles closer to herself and tries to make good on continuing down the stairs. Don't give Kyrie any reason to say "I told you so". It's bad enough that she had to ask for what help she did as it is, but she needs to get back to her room as soon as possible.

It's nothing personal. When you're a mage, you can't let your guard down around others even during the best of times, and Rin is hyper aware of what sort of situation she's in right now. It's not a good one. If there was ever a time...

...For that reason, Rin's both thankful for Kyrie's help right now, but also quietly afraid. "It's okay to rely on others" Kyrie says, and a flash of guilt runs through Rin's eyes, but she just focuses on reaching the bottom of the stairs. Her knees are shaking by the end, but she does manage it!

...he actually was, I believe. Bring half-incubus and coming from an age when magic was more abundant in the world, he had an edge over modern mages, but transcended even the casters of his time.

There's no record of his death either, so it's possible he still lives to this day.

Every time there's a new room with an interior like this, it takes Rin about five minutes to remember that wait no, they've been kidnapped and dragged into a murder game and that's kind of fucked up, because. Look at the antiques and pretty decor, guys, someone has taste.]

Well...I thought it'd be a fun idea to ask around and see if anyone needed any help with theirs, since it doesn't seem to be something we all have access to. Maybe give them a little makeover for the fun of it.

People with a clear head like yours...they're good to have in these kind of situations. But even the best of us can be surprised by what's happened here. It's not a bad thing at all.
