WEEK 2.
Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

It's not one Luca is going to be talking about though, because he doesn't really have the context to understand what is going on in it. Instead, he will go about his usual day, acting as if nothing is wrong whatsoever.
Of course, there is a new floor to explore, so there's that.
Luca can be found in the library in the morning, checking out the books there. He doesn't seem to be finding what he is looking for at first, as he barely scans the books before returning them to the shelves. But eventually he does find a book to keep, and he tucks it under his arm to hold onto it while he continues his searches.
Later on he can be found in the laundry room, though he is just staring blankly at the washing machines trying to figure out what to do with them. He hasn't been hand-washing his clothes in his sink before now, why would you think that?
Lastly, in the evening he can be found in room 7, lounging on his bed as he reads the book he grabbed earlier. But the door is open, so feel free to come say hi!]
laundry room
Do you need to learn how to use the machine?
[BECAUSE GUESS WHO KNOWS HOW TO USE THEM! Yes, this gal! While she's not as bubbly as she was when she talked to Luca yesterday, she's doing what she can to keep herself together.]

[Luca looks ready to make up an excuse and say he's fine, but he stops when he sees who it is. Estelle has been nothing but nice so far, so she won't laugh at him if he admits to his problem, right?]
That would be helpful, yes. These do not exist where I come from.
holy html fail on my part...
[Her smile turns a bit bitter.]
Caren taught me how to use them, so I think it's only right I pass on that knowledge. [And keep her spirit living here. It's silly, maybe, but Estelle feels it's right. At least every time she does laundry she'll be reminded of Caren.]
/patpat
[That's. That's kind of sad and Luca would have preferred to forget about Jean and Caren entirely. But he won't say that, Estelle seems to want to remember them.]
I think so too. She helped you, so you can help others in return.
no subject
[Estelle is a rare being that can remember the good and forget the sad. It's escapism, really, but it's also a really nice trait she has. Fortunately, or unfortunately, she won't forget Jean or Caren.]
Would you like me to show you now?

[He is actually wearing the school uniform right now, and has his regular clothes in his arms.]

Physics, chemistry, either of those would be fine. If we are to be trapped here, then some light reading for the evening would be nice.

Yo, find something good?
no subject
[He holds up the book he had grabbed before. Whatever language it's written in, it's definitely not English.]
no subject
[ Or if it's a cookbook.
He squints at the book, though... ]
... What language is that in?
no subject
[Wait, that might not exist in Yuri's world.]
Sevallia is my home country, and they speak a different language there. You probably cannot understand this, but this is Sevallian.
[For the italicized part, Luca is still speaking something Yuri can understand because of the translator, but there is a noticeable shift in his accent. Whatever language he had been speaking before was his second language, and his speech had always been a bit stilted and full of pauses. But speaking this other language, it flows off of his tongue naturally and sounds much better, even if the words are the same.]
no subject
[ Maybe he should've read more books back home. ]
... By the way, I can still understand what you're saying--the only difference is the accent you've got going on.
[ He thinks it is kind of cool, though. ]
no subject
[He switches to another language, this one entirely different from the other two he has been speaking. This one is one of his weaker languages, and it shows in how stilted and grammatically incorrect his sentences sound.]
How sounds this one?
