WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

And more sharp things!

[She glances over at a few of the scalpels before returning her attention to Kimblee- and his side, apparently.]

Are you alright, Mister Kimblee?
explosivecombat: (It's no accident that I've survived)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2017-09-17 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm...?

[He'll shift at that, though, letting his hand fall back to his side idly as he does so, and he'll seem to settle a bit as he answers.]

...I'm fine. I'd imagine it's natural to find all of this slightly troubling, wouldn't you think?

[...That isn't what she meant, probably, but who cares.]
withabigsmile: (well here's what I think)

[personal profile] withabigsmile 2017-09-17 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[That isn't at all what she meant, but that's also enough of an answer. That was the side he was talking about during the meetings, wasn't it?]

It's a double-edged sword. It's dangerous, but it can help with any accidents or close calls.

[...Hopefully Adelina is wise enough to be cautious in here. She does ask how things work before touching them, so she should be fine...]
explosivecombat: (Someone needs to listen more carefully)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2017-09-17 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Thankfully, we seem to have a few people who seem competent enough with it - hopefully this place will be more useful than not.

[Rideaux is a doctor, Susan used to be a nurse, Fern apparently did some weird medical stuff outside of being a patient somewhere, the people who were hovering around Jean's body on Monday all seemed to know what they were doing to some extent...]
withabigsmile: (the heart makes it convincing ♥)

[personal profile] withabigsmile 2017-09-18 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
And while we're talking about positives, this place is really going to come in handy if we find a way out of this place!

[Since you know, who the hell knows what's outside of here.]
explosivecombat: (Go on and keep that up)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2017-09-18 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
...That's a valid point, isn't it.

[Kinda morbid, but valid.]

What do you think is out there?

Some kind of barrier keeping us from going too far. Spotlights, maybe. Or maybe there's nothing but wilderness for miles.

[That is insanely morbid. Her expression changes pretty quickly.]

Personally, I'm hoping for some hot springs! That would be some pretty good luck, don't you think? ♥
explosivecombat: (It's no accident that I've survived)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2017-09-18 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
[...Well, that was...weirdly specific??]

It would be, actually. Granted, I've never experienced those, either.

[Jesus, he is seriously from the middle of goddamn nowhere.]

Oh, they are just the best! One piping hot soak, and all your worries and stresses will melt away. Sort of like a nice hot shower here, but much, much better. It needs atmosphere, you know? And since they're usually up in the mountains, there's nothing but a good view wherever you look!
explosivecombat: (And what have we here?)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2017-09-18 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
The only mountains I'm used to are entirely too frigid for any of that, really, but it sounds wonderful regardless. You're fortunate.

[...Well. That's some rough luck.]

You really have the short end of the climate stick, don't you?
explosivecombat: (It's no accident that I've survived)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2017-09-20 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
It's mostly desert of some sort, absolutely frigid, or so rural that it can't really be considered civilized.

[there is just, like, so much boonies, blue.]

...Or it's contested territory, where no one is going to go for any sort of pleasant reason. I suppose that's also an option.
