WEEK 2.
Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

I'd wager that's their intention; to see if anyone bites.

[To...put it gently.]
Although if we're feeling optimistic, we do seem to have a fair number of people who seem at least mostly competent with regards to such things; perhaps we can get some use out of this place after all.

At the very least, now we have a chance in case someone gets injured, even if I don't like our chances.

I have to wonder what the rules are on that, if the Coordinators will even clarify such a thing. For example, if we try to save someone but fail, are we responsible for the death then? Or if we come across someone dying and can save them, but for whatever reason refuse to...
[like, do we have Good Samaritan laws here, are we under duty to rescue. What are we supposed to do with this fucking infirmary.]

If someone attempting to save a person does end up accountable... well. I guess that's a good way to cut down on numbers in a hurry.

Though I agree; it would ensure our numbers are dramatically reduced. Maybe it's how they'll end this.

Although I don't know how much they're doing this for fun - I have no doubt they're enjoying it, Mr. Jericho is making that much obscenely clear, but it seems that their ultimate goal, as far as I can see, is simply that we all end up dead in one way or another.

They sure went to a lot of work, though, for what amounts to a slaughter. Bringing people from what must be different worlds, entirely different realities... It's a unique way to go about it, I'll give them that.

Perhaps something happened before we woke up here... Something that we aren't recalling. After all, we still don't know how we got here, and several of us have physical differences that can't be explained away - there's time missing in there somewhere.

I'm concerned about not remembering where I got my injuries-- they're not mild. And though I've healed, a lot of time must have passed between then and now.

As I said at the meeting last week, I have...several instances of heavy scarring myself, things that likely should have proven fatal. And I'm still not certain what was done to my organs, but they don't feel right, either.
[So there's. that.]
As with you, it's all healed... I just don't understand how I'm still alive.

[......]
Well, I'll be honest. "Impossible" is the word I'm looking for right now. Yet here we are, like nothing happened at all, save for some very alarming scars.
