WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

Okay, so I was right in the first place, more fairy stories than anything.

[ She shakes her head. What was she even asking for, really? She brings a hand up to brush her nail against her own lips. Mmm. ]

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
It's weird, though, because I'm a Child of the Full Moon. I didn't think I was anything but human until recently. I still probably am a human.

[Well, since they're talking about races...]

At this point, I don't know the full story, and I'm pretty sure my dream was just a dream, but I can't shake the feeling the Children of the Full Moon were... unwanted.

[ Wait what. ]

... Lead with that next time, why don't you?! Who cares about your girlfriend or whatever-
matchbreaker: (Our names won't be remembered)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-18 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[ She wheels around quickly, one hand shooting out to Estelle's shoulder to wheel her a little as well, such that both of them are facing each other. She locks eyes with the others. ]

So you're not human in the first place?
firstaid: (defeated sigh)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[She's quickly turned around as she looks to the ground.]

Oh... right... there's the Krityan, too. Judith would be mad if I forgot about her kind. They're very beautiful people with pointy ears and furry antennae that protrude from the back of their heads.

[Does she like talking about this? Not really... So she changes subjects.]

[ At least she's facing her properly? But ... she's reaching a finger out to poke Estelle in her chest. Once, twice. ]

Okay so you've got bug elves or whatever! Big deal, let's focus on your bag! Are we talking aliens or werewolves?
firstaid: (hmm...)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-18 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm... not really sure? It's all so confusing.

[She just knows that she's... different.]
matchbreaker: (While u sleep)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-18 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
How can y'not know?!

[ She might.

Be shaking her a little??? ]
firstaid: (pout)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
I... I just don't. All I know is that I'm different from everyone else. I can use magic, my hair is pink, but... I never thought too deeply about that until recently.
matchbreaker: (the one below was the worse option)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
[ Okay one, she assumes the pink was normal even though it was weird and now you're telling her it's weird?

... She's going to run her hand through the hair. ]
firstaid: (elegance defined)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
[Estelle's hair is soft, like that of someone who's never dyed their hair. If she's looking at her roots, they're definitely pink, so it's apparent the color is very natural.]
matchbreaker: (Notre Dame)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh, she didn't figure it for dyed. More she's just feeling it, brushing a hand in there and then tugging lightly on her bangs. She nods, seemingly satisfied at this and then poking her cheek ]

The discovery you're not human is a good thing, you know.
firstaid: (hmm...)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
[...that's... interesting to hear.]

How so? Don't people fear what they don't know?
matchbreaker: (Wow cool...)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Of course they do! But that means you aren't one of them?

[ And isn't that amazing?! In fact, her eyes are alight. Because humans fucking suck??? ]
firstaid: (soft smile of contentment)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
Still, people are amazing. It... makes me sad that I'm not like them.

[She gives a sad smile.]
matchbreaker: (Notre Dame)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
... Well sure, people are. Humans usually aren't.

[ Flatly, and she's going to poke Estelle in the boob here with a long lady fingernail to make this point. ]
firstaid: (really; serious; unsure)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
[She flinches back at that. No one usually ever touches her (non-existant) boobs?]

...aren't people the same as humans, though?
matchbreaker: (In ADOBODOBODOBO)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
[ girl shut up you have more boob than her.

... But. ]

Absolutely not! You said it yourself, you've got those... bug people! And the Extellas or whatever! And you!
firstaid: (pout)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
[She furrows her eyebrows a bit.]

But why do you deem the Krityan and Entelexeia as okay, but not humans? They all have the same souls in the end, I think.

[That, and her world has more struggles with classism than racism... unless you're a Child of the Full Moon, then certain Entelexeia hate you.]
matchbreaker: (Sandy Vaginas)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
There's no way they do. Hell, humans don't even think they do - they're more certain their God or gods are looking after them, not the "monsters." You read, right? Just look at all their damned stories. From Saint George to Van Hellsing, the lot of them value their existence above any other.

[ She says this all darkly, glibly. Her tone changes along with her eyes. Apparently, Estelle's words that she, in fact, is not human changes everything?

... Look racism isn't logical. ]
firstaid: (defeated sigh)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-19 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
Even so, I've seen people do wonderful things. Besides, that kind of hatred-- it's what the nobles do when they look down at the commoners. We struggle greatly with classism where I'm from, so I suppose in a sense I understand. I've had people dislike me simply because I'm a noble.
matchbreaker: (POP IT)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-19 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
[ That kind of hatred...

... No, no, she's talking about humanity's towards her, not the reverse. Her eyes burn, but there's no need to get so defensive. She exposes her fangs a little, and- ]

That's nowhere near the same thing. That doesn't even begin to cover it.
firstaid: (more concern)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-21 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Even so... I could never hate humans. While they're capable of evil things, they're also capable of very good things. Yuri and everyone else, they still accept me even after all I've done.

[So to denounce humans would be to denounce her dear friends. She can't do that.]
matchbreaker: (Uses this a ton)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-09-21 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh like what?

She laughs at that, shaking her head before taking a step back. ]

Well, that's yours to regret.
