WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

Maybe you're just too stressed right now. Did you sleep well last night?

[Hard to know for sure if you got eyebags or anything when you're SO GREEN, FERN. She'll have to trust your word on that]
greenmamabear: (You are experiencing a day)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-18 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Depends on if staring at the ceiling for hours was a dream or not.

[it hasn't been great kyrie]

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-18 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
That doesn't count. No surprise you can't focus.

[Kyrie sews. It may end in a slightly larger sock than needed, but it should be good enough]

I think everything happening here's affecting me too. I was able to sleep, but the dream reminded me too much about this whole mess. I'd be surprised if anyone had a good night of sleep last night, to be honest.
greenmamabear: (Awful just awful)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-18 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
[She'll take it by this point]

I wouldn't be surprised if everybody was coming down with bad dreams. The whole thing's... gruesome.

At least it'll make our return to home a bit sweeter. I won't want to do anything but stay at my home for a long while, once I'm out of here.
greenmamabear: (You are experiencing a day)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-18 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Boy, can I feel that. If I wasn't in this place, I could use the longest damn bath of my life. [And its only been a week]
chessturner: 21 (21)

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-18 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[The other sock is going well, at least it's similar to the one she already made]

What about the hospital you were at? You're a patient for a reason, right?
greenmamabear: (Kay whatever)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-18 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
[Oh boy, her favorite topic.]

I could one hundred percent use a bath after that... hell.

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-19 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
It must be extremely surreal to have to pass through that hospital you mentioned. I didn't know what to say when you mentioned that other patient was a nose!

[Just what kind of surreal adventure were you in, Fern?]
greenmamabear: (Kay whatever)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
You thought that was bad, you should listen to the spleen ramble for hours.

[It was One Hell of One]
chessturner: (1)

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-19 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
...what do spleens ramble about, exactly?
greenmamabear: (Dealing with this)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
Pretty much anything and everything. He made me inject malaria in him so he'd have more to complain about.

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-19 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[Kyrie looks up]

...you are aware of how little sense what you're saying makes, right?

[She's not insinuating you're lying about anything, it's just that the hospital you keep mentioning is so freaking weird she's having a hard time wrapping her head around it]

greenmamabear: (Attempting to follow along here.)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, absolutely. Its, uh, pretty much crazytown central.

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-19 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
How can you keep your sanity in that place? I'm not sure I'd be able to stay lucid, and I'm very certain of my mental stability.
greenmamabear: (Attempting to follow along here.)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not... 100 percent positive of that myself, to be honest. [What with the monsters and hearing voices. It makes it really easy to doubt yourself.]

So far? I've just been rolling with the punches, pretending to know what the monsters are talking about, and stay focused on what I need.

I can't decide if being here is better than being over there. Yours is a rather unlucky life, Fern-san.

[She feels bad for you. Hey, take the other sock, here you go. It won't make your life much better, but at least you now have a good pair of socks!]

greenmamabear: (Zero hearts)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Tell me about it. [Like a sick kid and her increasingly appropriate name wasn't enough.]

Even with this place's, uh... [She moves her head around in a vague gesture.] You know. Its... nice. To be around people again, I mean.

Oh, thank you. [She happily accepts the socks, slipping them on her feet and getting a feel for it. Watching means she might get a better idea how to use the flipping thing, at least.] You're, uh, pretty good at this stuff.

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-19 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
As a group we all may not be 'normal', but I guess we're better than no people at all.

[What with the explosive alchemists and that long-nailed cat-like woman, and the bunch of children, and other miscellaneous strange people around here. Kyrie smiles for a moment]

Glad to be of assistance! Once you're out of here you don't have to return over there, right? You can continue with your life without weird hospitals, hopefully. It'd be time to start your life again, without having to meet random sentient body parts.

greenmamabear: (Eating at you)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, I'll take conversations I can understand any day.

[She pauses mid getting the sock and just kinda. Stares at the floor.]

...No, I....

Junior's still there, so...

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-19 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
...oh no.

[Kyrie covers her mouth, realizing what Fern means. So her son is in that hospital...there's no way that is good]

I see. I'm sorry, Fern-san, I didn't mean to bring that up.
greenmamabear: (Zero hearts)

[personal profile] greenmamabear 2017-09-19 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I-its fine. You didn't- its not-

I'm alright, really. I didn't mean to worry you.
