WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? Yeah it is. I'm glad to have it back.

[She certainly won't toss it away now. It's a perfect reminder to her to hold on and keep fighting, she thinks.]

[hesperos]

Yeah.

[ He'll lean a bit against the machine and then look at the rest of the stuff around here. ]

Say, what's with all that other stuff you got there? Are these things giving you other people's items too?

[firstaid]

Yeah. Mr. Kimblee said I had his pocketwatch, so I gave that back to him. [She has no use for it after all.]

Then there's some food and sweets, as well as an assortment of items that I have no idea what their function is. This-- [She picks up the roomba.] --seems interesting, though.

[She then picks up the machete...] I should also hold on to this... just in case.

[hesperos]

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that--

[ He takes a pause because he forgot the machete there. But you know what? If Estelle is walking around with a machete, it's something she can use in case someone decides to try anything.

So, he's okay with it. Still. ]

...Yeah, you should. Hopefully not everyone's gonna wind up walking around here with machetes, though.

[firstaid]

I hope not, however, it seems better than the steak knife I've been carrying around.

[Despite all her hope and optimism, she's kept herself armed because at least she was always somewhat aware how dire their situation is.]

[hesperos]

It is.

[ Yuri feels like he can at least rest easy since she has that with her. Which is more than he's seen anyone else with, including himself. ]

I kind of wonder who isn't carrying a steak knife around at this point.

[firstaid]

After what happened, I would imagine everyone is armed now.

[While everyone wants to work together, they also fear one another at the same time. That contradiction of feelings is strange, but understandable. To want to trust one another yet they know they can't trust each other at the same time.]

I didn't want to believe anything bad would happen and still don't want to believe anything will since what happened was an accident. Still, it's better to be safe than sorry...

[She's naive, but she understands this much.]

[hesperos]

It's a good idea--you just never know, especially with some of these guys here.

[ Even if it was an accident, Yuri did imagine that it brought people to be more cautious. Well, he doesn't think anyone will want to go strolling around at night by themselves anymore (or he could be wrong, you never really know.) ]

Speaking of people, have you managed to keep getting along with everyone so far?

[ Yuri's low-key checking in to make sure no one has been giving her trouble, nbd. ]

[firstaid]

I think I've been managing with most everyone here. Um, Miss Maizono is a really sweet girl.

Susan is also a really nice lady-- I think it's calming talking to her.

Mr. Kimblee is very honest, and I find he's really easy to talk to.

Elda is a bit blunt, but I think if I talk with her more we could be friends!

I just spoke with Chitoge and she's a really nice girl, too!

Um, oh Weiss! She's also really sweet and I think we're good friends already...! [Estelle, it's only been a week...]

I also just spoke with Luca and he's very friendly, too.

Oh, and Adelina! She's like a princess out of a story book! [GIRL, YOU'RE A PRINCESS FUCKIN' PINK HAIR AND HEALING MAGIC.]

And Kyrie... she's like a nice mom, I think!

[ Yuri laughs a little; okay, well, honestly... maybe he shouldn't be surprised that she actually went ahead and went into more detail than he expected. But it's still not entirely what he's expecting. ]

I think I've spoken to about ... three on that list?

[ At least he gets the feeling that it's not everyone she's talked about being listed here considering she said 'mostly everyone'. ]

Though, it's good you've been managing with them pretty well.

[firstaid]

I think so! We are in a tough situation, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be kind to one another.

[hesperos]

That's right - it'd help with teamwork, for the most part anyway.

[ He remembers them talking about this in the first week. ]

Anyway, I guess I should try using this thing to get stuff like this and that, huh?

[ When he says that he looks over at the stick of dango, though he's also probably referring to ... you know getting his own stuff back. ]

[firstaid]

You should, especially if it's giving out weapons and personal items.

[And other random shit, but hey, sometimes it gives out roombas which Estelle is definitely going to play with later. Because it seems like a fun little device.]

[hesperos]

[ He'll get around to it...soon. ]

Yeah, I will. Maybe I'd get a sword back or something.

[firstaid]

That would be good.

[She looks at her weapon.]

Would you like mine for now so you can protect yourself? ...or should I keep it?

[She wants to keep it, but she also doesn't want Yuri defenseless, even if he's pretty good with his fists, too.]

[hesperos]

Nah, you keep a hold of it.

[ ... ]

Besides, if you just hand it over it wouldn't help get myself into gear with grabbing stuff from this thing.

[ He might just get lazy and he really can't afford to. ]

If you say so. Just, please, make sure you have something to protect yourself, too.

[Jean was a soldier, yet he was killed just because he was pushed off a ledge. It's no good to underestimate anyone or anything here.]
