WEEK 2.
Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

Where'd you find that lil' guy?
no subject
I got him from the vending machine. Isn't Isamu-san so cute? I was honestly surprised that I could find something like this in the machine.
[She pulls it back in, though, and...tilts her head a bit.]
How are you feeling, though...?
no subject
She misses her stuffed animal collection from home right about now. ]
That's my line, dummy. I'm, uh... I'm coping. Ish. [ Trying to get that awful sight from- ] I wanted to...see how you were, too.
no subject
I'm not a dummy...!
[Sayaka pouts a bit, but...well...]
You can...take a seat somewhere, if you'd like. It's, um...
[...she'll actually move to make room on the bed if Alex wants to sit next to her, but her stare falls on the door and her lips purse.]
It's a lot.
no subject
Mm. Yeah. Do...do you wanna talk about it?
no subject
...Can you promise me it won't leave this room, Alex-san?
no subject
[ ...she holds up her pinky. ]
no subject
...I had a horrible, horrible dream last night. I dreamed that...I was in that school that I was supposed to go to. And it turned out to be one of these games.
no subject
Was- was the same kind of person running it? With the titles and- everything?
no subject
[Sayaka takes a breath, just...kind of trying to steady herself.]
We...all of us kept waking up in different classrooms, and steadily meeting up with one another. By the time the last student made their way in, there was...fifteen of us. We were all students who were supposed to be sharing the same class, but we didn't remember anything about the way the school was. It was...all sealed off, like this place...
[...this is horrifying to keep trying to imagine, and she just...kind of kneads her fingers into her plush, head going downward.]
no subject
[ That sounds...almost worse than this place. Somewhere that's supposed to be safe and normal, somewhere you knew you were going to go, except in the end, it was...
...just like Edwards Island.
Alex puts a hand on her shoulder, squeezing gently. ]
What happened then? Do you remember anything else?
no subject
We...we were called into the Gym...this bear introduced himself as Monokuma--our supposed 'Headmaster'. We're supposed to be the hope of the world, as he put it, and...we're meant to live a life solely within the confines of that school...until the day we die...
[There's...panic rising in her tone as she says that, and she just gets tenser.]
No one...no one's going to help us. No one's going to come for us, because we're cut off entirely from the world. We chose to go to this school, so we can't...we can't escape unless we 'graduate' by killing someone...
no subject
[ The hand that's in Sayaka's hair, Alex reaches over and touches it, soft as she can. ]
I'm- I'm right here.
[ There's no use in saying "you're not there anymore" because...well, this place isn't any better, is it? There's so much to unpack about this, the fact that it sounds so very similar to Graceside and its set-up, but. Discussing that right now probably isn't good for Sayaka. What matters right now is what's good for Sayaka, so Alex pushes past the thumping of her pulse in her neck.
She can't think of anything reassuring, though, nothing except- ]
Screw that damn bear- Sayaka, that's just...I'm sorry.
no subject
Alex is right there. Yes, that's right. She's there, and...she shouldn't be so goddamn weak right now, should she? Alex has been through so much, she shouldn't be burdening her. And yet here she is, practically ready to cry her eyes out at all of this and--]
What--what did I do to deserve this...?! I don't want this, I don't...I don't want to...
[Her words kind of die off there, and she's...definitely tearing up a bit at this. She hates all of this? Like, literally all of it.]
...be forgotten...
no subject
"Do you think we wanted to be thrown away! Like some faulty appliance!"
"You have to know why-- that everyone chose to forget about us! Everyone just...shuttered us away."
A twisting in her gut. A small pining in the back of her head. Alex pulls Sayaka over to her, best she can, and holds her tight. A hug. She can do that much. She...couldn't do anything back there, but, here-- ]
Nothing. [ She's surprised. Her voice is a strangled squeak. ] You didn't a-and- you won't, I- I won't...let that happen.
no subject
Sayaka clings right back, burying her face in Alex's shoulder. She's shaking so hard, between the stress of living in a place like this, her memories of that school and it's lies, and every single standard wearing at her arguably fragile mental state. Everything's just tearing her down and making her even worse, and she's so messed up over everything.]
I--I can't do that again...I don't want to be alone again...I-I'll take anything, anything over that...!
[God.]
I'm sorry...I'm sorry...
no subject
[ She swallows, and holds tighter. ]
We'll figure it out.
no subject
It's...]
...Alex-san...I'm begging you...
[She unburies her face from Alex's shoulder, looking up with a very tear stained face.]
Please...please don't let something happen to you. I can't--I can't lose you.
[It's probably sad, that she trusts the girl in front of her...honestly, even more than she trusts anyone in this place.]
no subject
...in here, whatever connection they can get, and...she's let so many people down. The people in town, looking at her, like she's- like she'd held him down herself, and-
That's not here. She's not in Camena and- she can at least stay alive. Or try. ]
I won't. [ Her voice is high and thin. ] I'll st-stay alive, I won't...leave you alone.
