WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? Estelle helped me wrap them up. She said that as long as I don't do anything to open up the wounds, I should be alright in a little while. And I've done way worse to myself.

[ She tries to keep it light. Even if it was a more serious injury, and she managed to break something, God forbid, what's done is done. ]

I appreciate the concern, though, really. It doesn't hurt badly at all, and I can still keep my hands busy with this, even if it's not coming out great.

['I've done way worse to myself' catches her interest, though she doesn't comment. She gives a small nod and turns her attention to the girl's work with curiosity.]

Are you normally adept at it?

Not even a little, if we're being honest. But I figured I'd try and live up to my title a bit and give it a shot, as long as I have it in front of me and I don't have much better to do. I have classes for it in school...

[ But that said... ]

But when it comes to, like, homely stuff? I tend to botch things like that.

...I have some talent in such things. Knitting and embroidery and the like. If you would like, I could certainly show you.

[ While she doesn't want to inconvenience her, an offer like that doesn't sound bad at all. ]

If it's not too much trouble, that sounds like it'd be great, actually.

[ They do have a fair bit of time, here. It couldn't hurt to learn. ]

Is there something I can do for you in return? I hate the feeling of being indebted to someone.

It isn't trouble at all.

[She shakes her head.]

You don't have to, truly, but if you would feel uncomfortable without doing so... Perhaps there's a skill you could show me in turn?
