WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? That is the village I was raised in.

[ . . . Okay no seriously this girl is ridiculous. Who ever heard of a humble god, particularly one in their 20s. She said she was a spirit but not a god an in a mortal vessel or whatever sure but that's sophistry???

Elda exhales, waving her hand dramatically before, ]

... Anyway your clothes are pretty over the top.

[ Assuming she's in that canon outfit, but either way she recalls it from day 1 ]

[That's just. Milla. She'd had to be told what exactly she meant to the people of Nia Khera a year ago. At least now she understands how people think a little better but still--]

They would be incorrect, but I am indebted to them for all they have done for me.

[But about her clothes--]

You think so? I'm rather fond of them.

[Yeah she sure is. Girl wears it all the time. Elda, you'd probably understand better if you could meet the idiot that picked them out.]

[matchbreaker]

I mean I guess I can get the top, even if it's hugging you a little bit too tightly. [ In fact, here, have another boob poke. ] But what even are those leggings? What, did this Ivar guy lust after your legs constantly?

[spiritform]

[You know. She's come to the conclusion that Elda just has a totally healthy obsession with touching boobs.

But do you know what does surprise her a little? That assessment of Ivar's interests. Because do you know what really obvious thing she's never considered? That.]

I highly doubt that. I always assumed it was a matter of maneuverability.

[Uh huh. Yep.]

... Girl those things have to take like five minutes to get on each morning at least with all those straps and you're in heels.

[spiritform]

Well, it is a bit time consuming. Still- I have never had any issue running in heels.

[...Milla that's not even the issue.]

[matchbreaker]

[ . . . wow ]

... You know, I bet you could get the uniform they gave us here on in half the time. And you know if anyone fitted you for some other clothes, they wouldn't be this... this, right?

[spiritform]

[Milla is actually, really seriously considering this.]

I see your point. It may be worth considering the change.

[At least-- about the first part. The second bit she just kind of blinks at.]

[matchbreaker]

I mean, no skin off my nose if you don't, but it might get you up brighter in the morning. Do you brush your hair before you set out?

[ IN FaCT... she's going to walk around to do a hair check. Is this hair maintained. ]

[spiritform]

Yes-- although I am accustomed to Sylph straightening it for me each morning.

[It might appear not at a distance but up close it's clear she puts a lot of care into it. Even now that she has to do it for herself....]

[matchbreaker]

Good! If you didn't, then I might need to scold you for having it this long in the first place.

[ elda, you hair is to your feet...

But she is brushing her fingers through Milla's hair... now. to make sure there's no kinks. ]

[spiritform]

[Milla smiles at that--]

I am not scolded very often.

[For different reasons. Anyway-- as for her hair...]

I am very proud of this hairstyle.

[matchbreaker]

Well yeah, who scolds a god?!

[ Pfffthahah. She laughs a little at this and... well, there we go. Okay, no kinks yet. ]

[spiritform]

Jude would scold me from time to time. But only when it was fitting. Even someone like me has had some bad habits.

[Having someone play with your hair feels nice. She could get used to this.]

[matchbreaker]

The fact you can recognize that is somewhat unsettling, honestly.

[ Because a god being self aware is... disturbing?

... Okay, she approves of this hair so far. She's going further up to try to touch at the weight green part of it. ]

[spiritform]

I was not always aware of that fact. Because of that I caused people a lot of trouble. I even almost lost the use of my legs.

[Sometimes life pushes self-awareness on you.]

But because of the others I was able to overcome that. I do not want to forget the lessons I have learned, nor make the mistakes I have in the past again.

[matchbreaker]

[ Huh. ]

... Not sure how a god messes up their legs like that. Or even a ghost? But hey, probably for the best that you figured that out. On that note though, what's your hot take on where we're at, little over a week and a half into all this?

[spiritform]

My vessel is still human. It would be unfortunate to have to wait for another to mature.

[She doesn't have time to wait 17-18 years okay. However-- she considers Elda's question very seriously.]

As a group we appear to be holding together well enough. But as time goes on more and more individuals are going to become uneasy. If this goes for another week or longer I would not be surprised if we lost more individuals.

[It's not something she sounds happy about, but she's not going to deny it either.]

[matchbreaker]

You think it's holding together well?

[ She doesn't seem to be the sort who gets too involved with things... so. that surprises her?

... That vessel, huh. ]

[spiritform]

As of right now we are still willing to work together. The worst case scenario would be mass hysteria and a group of people who are unwilling and unable to interact and work together. This is not ideal, but we are still far from that scenario.

[matchbreaker]

You've mostly been an observer in things so far, as near as I can tell.

[ It's not really something she's judging her for, not really. ] I guess that suits a god and all, but you're right, no one's gone crazy and ax killed everyone except for the two dead boys.

[spiritform]

I will admit that I am not in my element with many of the concepts here. Until now I have never observed an investigation nor a trial, much less partook in one. They are human concept that I am only vaguely familiar with. However... I would like to learn so that I may be of more assistance in the future.

But yes-- even though we are all familiar of the possibility of the worst that may follow, we are all trying to avoid that right now. It may not hold, but I respect everyone's strength.

[matchbreaker]

Well, me either. [ But then, she's content to make an ass of herself, so... shrug. The woman takes her hand back to herself and puts an arm behind her back: ]
