WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? That's what I thought as well, but it seems strange that everyone had some kind of bizarre dream.

[He could easily dismiss one or two people having vivid, strange dreams. But that many people? It's a little disconcerting.]

...yes, I admit that's bothering me too. But if it isn't a dream, then what could it be?

I'm not sure. It's hard to just dismiss it as a dream, though.

[Kyrie crosses her arms]

It may have been planted by the Coordinators. We don't know the extent of their abilities, they may be able to influence our minds that way.

That's an interesting thought. I hadn't considered that it could be yet another way for them to control us. Why has it only happened once, though?

[chessturner]

Maybe there just hasn't been enough time for more. It was the first Sunday we spent here, it could be next Sunday there will be another dream like this one.

Interesting. That's an angle I hadn't considered before...

[He takes a moment to write something down in that notebook of his before returning his attention to Kyrie.]

It's best not to put too much stock into what we saw, then. If this is their doing somehow then the entire thing is most likely fabricated, wouldn't you say?

Exactly! They want us to kill, this may be another way to get us to kill. Reminding us of what's back at our homes, making us want to return...

[It's a more effective tactic than the motive they gave on Tuesday, in Kyrie's opinion]

At least for some of us. I guess they'd aim for something different for each one of us.

That's certainly a unique way of going about it. The scenario they set up for me would make me want to return home, so that's very plausible.

I suppose there's no way to know for sure, since I doubt Alena would be willing to talk about it.

I don't know, maybe she would. She's more approachable than I expected.

[Kyrie's definitely not the prankster type, but somehow talking with Alena led to shenanigans. It was hilarious]

You've spoken with her, then? What did you two talk about?

[chessturner]

It's an odd story. Maizono-chan gave me a painting as a gift, so I decided to use it to see what kind of favors Alena-san was willing to do for us here. I asked her if she could send it to my home, and I thought she'd just reject it and that'd be the end of the discussion.

[Kyrie sounds a bit embarrassed]

And then one thing led to another, and we somehow decided to send it to an alternate version of myself in a completely different world -- for no concrete reason, just to mess with another myself? It wasn't something I thought I'd ever ask to do.

[sadisticwarfare]

Interesting. I never would have thought that she'd be so accommodating.

[And so down to mess with another version of yourself in another world?? That's actually pretty funny.]

Do you think she's actually capable of sending the painting there?

[chessturner]

That Jericho man can. I guess if he actually does it, it means taking people or objects from a world is not a problem for him. It could be an innate ability he can use with ease, or a machine that doesn't need much energy to work.

[At least she thinks if it was a huge problem to use, he wouldn't bother doing anything with the painting]
