WEEK 2.
Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[...oh, he's another one from a weird time, uh--give her a second here to find something. She's still got a fork with her, so that'll do.]
Okay, so! A taser is basically something you can use to shock someone and disorient them. Let's pretend the bit that shocks is right here. [She points to the prongs of the fork.]
Basically, you can use that and jam it into someone, and press a button to administer a shock to them if you need to defend yourself. It's pretty powerful, honestly...if you shock a person in the wrong place, you may just wind up hurting them.
Does that make sense?

[ He's actually a little amazed? He wonders if it's some kind of unique blastia or something like that... ]
Anyway, I think I understand it pretty well, so thanks for the explanation. I'm honestly a little surprised I've never heard of anything like that back at home, but maybe it's just because no one's thought of making anything like that before.
[ Or it's because he lives in a medieval world, but hey. ]
no subject
[That's a bit surprising.]
What sort of things are you more familiar with, then?
no subject
Nope, not really.
[ As far as he knows, anyway. ]
I'm familiar with stuff like blastia, swords, bows, ships, annoying knights, artes, and other stuff.
[ This is a random assortment of things that don't necessarily all go together. ]
no subject
I...take it the knights over there aren't exactly the nicest bunch?
[LET'S. START WITH THAT, THAT SEEMS THE LEAST LIKELY TO MAKE HER BRAIN CRY.]
no subject
[ Unless your name is Flynn Scifo. ]
They're uptight, help enforce stupid laws, and have a hard time helping people who aren't nobles.
no subject
[She remembers a few of his dislikes from what she read on the profiles--injustice, corrupted nobles and officials...]
They're the kind of people who'd just sit around and let the poor get stepped on, aren't they?
no subject
[ ... Hm. ]
Though, a friend of mine is trying to change all of that. He believes he can do something about the system if he's working on the inside, if you know what I mean.
Not my style, of course. But...who knows? It might just do something.
[ In the meanwhile, he's going to be doing things his own way, of course. ]
no subject
[...she says it like she knows something about it, but...if anything, her look goes a bit softer.]
You must be doing something about it too, then, right? He must be very proud to have a friend like you on his side, helping to support his goals...
no subject
But for now, he preferred to push what he was shown to the side. There really wasn't anything he can do about it now. ]
Well, yeah, I am.
[ ... ]
Sometimes he prefers I'd do things differently, so I dunno if he'd be "proud" or anything like that. But, if it gets stuff done, I'm not exactly going to look for his approval on what I'm doing.
no subject
[She imagines that reckless endangerment is just. Kind of on the menu, there, and honestly, you do you Yuri--wait.]
Wait. Are the guild and knights working together? Or are they separate?
[She assumes the 'guild' on his profile is something he's a part of, at least.]
no subject
[ Also, vigilantism, but he's not saying that. ]
Well, guilds and knights usually don't go together--so they've been separate for quite awhile.
Though there's been a truce or something like that for both groups in the works. But, I'm not sure how long that's going to last.
no subject
[That's...at least said with a small bit of snark, at least. Still, Sayaka listens to what he says with a bit of a sad nod.]
Ah...problems of interest, I'm guessing? I understand that. I hope everything will at least be okay for you and your friend--it sounds like it could be a real mess.
