WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[ What can he do but shrug?? The profiles don't interest him, not sorry. The second thing the guy says, however, that does. ]

You too? [ Heh. Should've known. He touches the blood on his chest with his left hand and looks down at it. Damn, that one's bad. ] Gotta say, not used to bleedin' this much. Shame we couldn't go at it with everything we've got.

That mean you woulda attacked me with something more than your head? [ His comment doesn't sound as derogatory as it could be, he did have fun after all. Now that they've called it (not that he really wants to but if he won it's OK he guesses), the kitchen knife goes back into his pocket. He causally leans back against the nearest wall, trying not to focus on how his chest hurts. ]

If they wanted a real show, they wouldn't have sealed us like this. Screw being fair, it's not the world works anywhere.

Yeah. I would've. [ He didn't take it that way anyway. Excited maybe, intrigued, and wanting more—but not derogatory. The part about the world not being fair though, that makes him laugh. Not openly and not loudly, of course. He's not that kind of person.

It's more of a short, low exhale that shows he's very clearly amused. ]
That their excuse for all this? "Leveling the playing field" is a pretty shitty justification when none of us have a "fair" shot at the ones in charge. ... 'course, that's always how this shit goes.

Yeah, that was the doll's excuse when I talked to her bout it. Not sure what she expects— even without my powers I'm not going to lose a fight with a brat. Jeri probably can't fight worth a damn anyway, or he wouldn't feel the need to hide like he is.

[ Why are there so many teenagers here, really. Terumi shrugs though, fixing his coat. That is definitely going to leave one hell of a bruise, but eh. ]
