[ You know what this murderschool needs? Party games. She talked about it with Tarrlok during the afterparty and today's the day she's going to host a game of truth or dare. After that unpleasant little motive, she's sure a lot of people are going to appreciate a distraction. She's a little too old for this, but watching each other perform stupid dares should be entertaining.

So during the day, she writes a bunch of notes and slides them under everyone's doors. One also goes up on the fridge. ]

[ As promised, there's food! The main attraction here is the build-your-own-parfait bar, but there's a nice assortment of other things too - yakitori made by Kyrie, Fern's mac and cheese, Sayaka's curry, plus a tea/coffee bar courtesy of Weiss. There's also a few bottles of booze Chie grabbed from the bar. Drink responsibly, please.

Have fun playing truth or dare, everyone! Remember, you can refuse a truth or a dare if you want to, but then you'll have to drink one of the shots of hot sauce Chie has prepared. Unless you're being asked to reveal what's in your envelope, then you can refuse without punishment. ]

[ there's no way she can explain the circumstances to some human girl without revealing more about what she is. So she frowns, hanging her head, trying to figure out how to express the weight of it all - of an eternity denied. About the end of something forever. [ She doesn't bristle from the contact. In spite of herself, the old woman does like to have physicality like this, even from some young human girl. She exhales and... smiles just a little, trying to center herself on some other facts ]

You've said it three times now - it's not like I don't believe you. ... But yes, I'm glad we had as long as we did. I've had centuries of memories with him, and I've got a son and three gorgeous grandchildren to boot.

[She gives her arm a small, comforting squeeze, and then lets go.]

[ Hmm, well... ]

I've got a son, Henry! Henry's a very kind man, like I said. Honestly, perhaps a little bit too much - the man's servile enough that he's okay with being married to the shrew of a woman he happened to marry. That's Calera, by the way. Anyway, I guess good and questionable mix to produce good, because their three grandchildren are gorgeous.

Ren's the oldest, he's several years older than you. He's a bit rough around the edges, but he happened to get James's good looks! He'll grow into his father's gentlemanly vibes eventually. Then there's Karin! Oh, dear Karin... she's a late bloomer in some ways, even if he body's really over-developed. She'd be about your age, actually! The spitting image of me, other than some bits she got from her mother. And then finally, little Anju. She's eleven or so right now, and you might mistake her for a doll if she was standing still, so long and pretty is her platinum blonde hair.

They all sound lovely.

Of course not! She's the worst!

[Adelina no, there is nothing but darkness ahead here... ]

Oh she's just the worst, the worst! She's always mouthing off and smirking like she owns the place, strutting around my manor like it's something that she built herself when I remind you that no, no, we did, me and James! And speaking of that, just because James said that she would be a perfect match for our Henry being more the assertive sort that's clearly not the case! She's so mean to him! Demanding to much, scolding him fort the littlest thing! Oh, I've seen her hit the man with a shoe before, even, can you believe that?! There's a difference towards being a tough partner for a somewhat soft man and being some overbearing tyrant of a woman! Honestly, she's probably the reason that Ren's ended up the way he has, with her condescending smirks and her low cut dresses, just because she's a little bit on the top heavy side! Is it any wonder that the boy can't respect women worth a damn with a mother like that? And I know she was the one who put a rock on top of my coffin last time around, I'm dead certain she was going to up and kill me! Not to mention that one time when we were young and she was trying to keep me away from little Ren--

[ . . . This can continue for several more minutes. ]

[She does take a moment to process all of that, but once she has—]

How dreadful! Why would she do such a thing?

Didn't I just tell you? Because she's the worst!

And your son doesn't find this behavior troubling in the least?

Oh he's just smitten with her, always has been. It makes the best men blind.

...I will hope that he sees the truth soon, then. I'm sorry you have to deal with her behavior in the meantime.

Oh good, I've got an easy one for you! Go and do a handstand for me.

I have never done one before, so I'm uncertain how well I'll do...

[And then she goes towards one of the walls to give it a try. It's a pretty clumsy attempt, but she does manage it for a few seconds.]
