everybody, put your hands up; yes, flying – imagine it like that!
[ You know what this murderschool needs? Party games. She talked about it with Tarrlok during the afterparty and today's the day she's going to host a game of truth or dare. After that unpleasant little motive, she's sure a lot of people are going to appreciate a distraction. She's a little too old for this, but watching each other perform stupid dares should be entertaining.
So during the day, she writes a bunch of notes and slides them under everyone's doors. One also goes up on the fridge. ]
Are you looking for a distraction after yesterday's incentive? Are you just bored?
Come to the dining hall at 6 pm today!
There will be food and we'll be playing truth or dare!
- Chie Hori
[ As promised, there's food! The main attraction here is the build-your-own-parfait bar, but there's a nice assortment of other things too - yakitori made by Kyrie, Fern's mac and cheese, Sayaka's curry, plus a tea/coffee bar courtesy of Weiss. There's also a few bottles of booze Chie grabbed from the bar. Drink responsibly, please.
Have fun playing truth or dare, everyone! Remember, you can refuse a truth or a dare if you want to, but then you'll have to drink one of the shots of hot sauce Chie has prepared. Unless you're being asked to reveal what's in your envelope, then you can refuse without punishment. ]

Bein' an idol is a lot of hard work. Even though I'm great at it, it's something that I had to work pretty hard at. The first time my agency formed a group for concerts, it didn't include me, hehe. They picked different idols. I was happy for them! But a few months later, they were gonna have their big concert and we were gonna open for them...we were gonna sing and dance first. A big storm hit that day, though, so instead of performin' once or twice, we had to perform all of our songs at once!
At first, the audience was like "who the heck are these people, where's the main event?", but we all put our hearts into what we were doin'. At one point, I had to dance to a song I'd never rehearsed for! But by the end, everyone was clappin' and yellin' my name, too! It was amazin'! And ever since then, I've had lots and lots of jobs!
[She remembers it like it was yesterday.]

It sounds like an amazing experience. You must be incredibly talented, if you were noticed so quickly among the others. I'm glad that your effort was realized.

As for when I met Hamuzou, it was love at first sight! He was there among all the other hamsters, but I knew right away he was the one for me. Hehe, I've even been able to take him to work. He's got fans of his own now, too!

[A small pause.]
May I ask what a hamster is...?

[She hasn't destroyed the career of 14 idols, for example.]
A hamster is a hamster! [She gestures the size of one by holding out her hands.] They're cute, but they're not mice or rats. They're round and fluffy and have tiny tails, and they come in all kinds of colors!

Oh! So, they're a kind of animal. I'd never heard of one before, so I was wondering. Is he your pet?
[And—]
Ah, but you said you wanted to know my happiest memory as well, correct?
no subject
[She has twelve.]
That's right! It's only fair, isn't it? And I'd rather talk about good things all day, 'cause we never know how long that's gonna last here.

[As for her happiest memory... She has to stop and consider it.]
It's hard for me to pick, as well. I have many fond memories of my sister, but... The first time I killed an ogre holds a special place in my memory, as well.
[Likes: monster slaying. Of course.]

[Because it's a list.
Wait, speaking of cute and happy...]
That's your happy memory?! [Deep breath. Okay, she's got this. No judging.] Ogres are big, scary monsters, right? I guess I'd be pretty happy, too, if I managed to get away from one. But now I wanna hear about your sister, too!

[She has to think of how to explain it correctly for a moment.]
When I was younger, I was very easily frightened. Many things scared me; spiders, strangers, the dark... It wasn't until I had to travel alone for the first time that I started to outgrow those fear. Our land is riddled with monsters, but the first time I bested one of them - there was nothing to compare with that feeling. I'd spent most of my life fearing what was out there in the world, and that was the first moment I knew that I didn't have to be scared ever again. The first moment that... I felt as though I had done something right, and could do so again.
[When she moves on to her next subject, though, her expression grows even more tender and fond.]
My sister, though - she is incredible. Her name is Meryl, and I do not know who I would be without her. She is incredibly brave. Without her, I do not think I would have ever been able to part from the castle. That's the kind of confidence she can instill in other people. She will make a wonderful queen someday. What's more...
[There's a short pause, before it grows more personal.]
Our mother passed when we were both very young, and our father is a very distant man who has little time for either of us. We are truly - all that the other has left.

[Hibiki is speechless. Her mouth hangs open as she takes in that first part. It's something every girl can relate to, isn't it? For Hibiki, it was moving to Tokyo alone to start her work. She was worried she'd never make it, that she would fail and have to go home to be ridiculed by her brother. But she took those steps, and she grew in confidence.
But Adelina's version is like her own but...so much more powerful.]
You're incredible. To do all of that...I think I understand you a lot better now!
[But there's that about her sister, too.]
She sounds amazing! I hope that when we get out of here, there's some way for me to meet her. I'll introduce both of you to Hamuzou, okay?

[She gives a nod when Hibiki comments on her sister, though, her smile growing a little more certain.]
I hope so, too. She would love to meet all of you.

[A little embarrassed by the compliment she's trying to give, she rubs the back of her neck sheepishly.]
Oh! Right! You asked me about the rest of my pets. There's...Hamuzou, Hebika, Shimao, Ousuke, Usae, Nekokichi, Waniko, Butata, Inumi, Momijorou, and Tokarou! Ah! And there's Kokemaro back home with mom!
[She counts them out with her fingers as she lists them...but she runs out of fingers. Someone, help this poor zoo child.]
