Yeah, and I'm responsible for the death of thousands. Potentially or whatever, because I was trying to save them. [For a relative value of "save," but her heart was in the right place.] The context or whatever is the important part. That's a cop thing, right? If someone steals my gun and kills someone, I'm responsible but it's not murder. It's, like, manslaughter or whatever?

Murder is a legal definition; the fact remains that someone is dead. Intent becomes hair-splitting, after a certain extent.

I mean, sure? But, like, intent is the difference between a hero and a villain. If I'm trying to stop a monster from taking over a city and people die, they're still dead. They're still on my shoulders or whatever because I wasn't . . . good enough, fast enough, whatever enough to save them.
