He isn't the only one, either. He and his...'siblings,' I suppose one would call them, are the ones carrying out most of this operation we're in the middle of. They all answer to a being called Father; I don't know if he has a name outside of that, as that's how I was told to refer to him.

Either way, I find that the Homunculi understand me far better than any of the humans I've dealt with. They allow me to do as I please, and express myself in ways that others consider to be heresy. It's...liberating, honestly.

Of course, the other reason I'm doing this is because humanity seems to be at a dead end; we've grown complacent, with a lack of superior beings to challenge us. I believe the Homunculi can provide that challenge, to force humanity to defend their position as the superior race. If they end up defeated, then they deserve what they receive.
