don't wait for a knight in shinin' armor, your savior's reflected in the mirror
[That sure was a fucking thing. That execution was a fucking thing. Those secrets are a fucking thing.
Cabanela retreats to his room, but not for all that long. Everyone will get a note eventually, written in very neat handwriting
I do not plan on bowing down to threats and intimidation. If you did not act, it means you were, like me, aware of the risk, but decided against it. Your reasons are entirely your own.
Join me in the dining room if you agree enough is enough, and that you won't acquiesce to threats. I don't plan to let this stop me, and neither should you.

In the dining room itself, Cabanela has set up coffee and tea for those who want it-- there's no food, because to be honest, he doesn't know how to cook. Two more candles have been lit-- he wasn't really sure what to do about the whole... parasite thing... so Fern's candle will have to make due.]

... You're one strange guy, you know that? [ He says this but he picks up two glasses in one hand and the bottle in the other. Where to, koala? ]
no subject
[ For what it's worth, he had a good time during their fight so there's that. Especially in light of Yuri kind of complaining about playing dirty during their own. Either way, Terumi will lead them to his room, because he wants privacy for the sole reason of not wanting to really deal with people right now. He doesn't really want to be alone either, but eh this is a compromise right?
His room is pretty bare if not immaculately neat, and the bright green electric guitar resting against one of the walls stands out. He will just kind of indicate wherever once they're inside, he doesn't care where you go Mikoto. ]
You read the crap on the walls?
no subject
At the gesture, he shrugs and takes a seat on the floor near the bed. Might as well stay here, it's as good as anywhere else. But, ah, okay.
This is about the wall. ]
No. None of that shit's my business.
no subject
Keheheh, figures. [ But the confirmation is nice. ]
So you don't care bout yours then, either. Was gonna say that it ain't shabby.
[ Also Terumi will pour the drinks now if given the chance, less because of manners and more because he could actually use the booze. ]
no subject
He watches Terumi pour the drinks before saying anything. ]
That really what you think? [ He waves his hand dismissively. Of course it is. ] Doesn't matter anyway, it didn't happen.
no subject
Oi, are you gonna tell me that you're sure you'd never do such a thing now? You don't strike me as the bleeding heart type.
no subject
With a shrug, he drops his hand onto the ground. ]
Sorry to disappoint, but it was a one-time deal. I don't think I'll get the chance again. [ Which is fine too, honestly. He doesn't sound sorry in the least, which is a trend whenever he apologizes. He pauses before clicking his tongue.
Might as well say this, too. ] Besides, even if it wasn't—I can't. I think I might be dead.
no subject
Here, Mikoto you should probably start drinking yourself if you're talking about being dead, right? Probably, not like death means much to Terumi, but the offer is made anyway, and he did pour out two glasses before. Take your glass of bourbon, Spikey. ]
First time? Can't even really remember what that was like, but it shouldn't matter, not in a place like this. Once time's been interfered with, it's a done deal until the end of the cycle—not like you're going to drop dead here all of a sudden or if you get back.

Suoh shakes his head as if to say "nevermind" and picks up the glass Terumi poured for him. He swishes the liquid around for a second before taking a sip. ] Might as well trust you on that. Sounds like you know what you're sayin', even if it doesn't make sense.
[ But... huh. Going back. Weirdly enough, he hasn't thought about it until now. What does he really have back there anyway? Kusanagi, Anna, HOMRA... There's them, but he was prepared to leave them all behind the moment Totsuka died. Does he even have a right to go back to them? Hell, does he even want to go back when he's not a king anymore? Being normal after this long just doesn't feel right. He didn't have any right to be a king, but he can't go back to being ordinary either. What the hell is he supposed to do with a second life? ] This is stupid.
no subject
Life is a whole lot of bullshit, but what are you gonna do about it? [ He takes another sip of his drink, some other thoughts flitting through his mind. For him this whole thing is both annoying and welcome, a break from the war he's waged time and time again with his sister. New experiences are fun, but it didn't get him any closer to his actual goal, it was just a different prison of a sort. ]
no subject
[ The past, Jericho, this second life—burning it all until nothing's left, not even ash, doesn't sound so bad. ]
no subject
[ This is like, the best damn thing he's heard all night? ]
That would be something, never really cared for fire over one method of destruction or another, but what does it freakin matter. Burned down a church once, and it was pretty pleasant~.
[ That's the problem really, the urge he's been resisting that he's been so strongly reminded of with the secret. Destroy, he should just destroy everything, but he needed to be patient didn't he? That line was getting awfully blurry. ]

[ That laughter, unhinged as it is, somehow sounds so sweet to his ears. He can't hide the grin on his face or the way that single word came out with such longing and desire. This isn't the first time he's had this violent, destructive impulse—but it is the first time it's been so strong. Terumi is dangerous, but not in the way he originally believed.
He sweeps his hand through his hair as he tries to control his racing heart. ] I'm starting to think you might be bad for me. How am I supposed to hold myself back with you actin' like that?
no subject
He finishes the last of what's left in his glass and just smirks. Your move, Mikoto. ]
no subject
He follows Terumi's example and finishes the rest of his glass. Normally he would savor it a little more but fuck it. Clearly they're about to get into something here.
Whatever it is, he's up for it. ] So, you in the mood to have some fun?
no subject
[ They definitely are, and Terumi even takes the second to lower his hood, revealing that shock of electric green hair. It's been far too long since he's been impulsive, so screw it. Not like Terumi has much of a moral code, anyway.
Well they're sitting on the floor, so there's really no eloquent way to do this is there? He's been given the invitation to start, and regardless of what's happening (though they probably both know what by now), his first move is obvious. He doesn't want to wind up on the floor, at least right now, so how about if he just tries to straddle Mikoto first. It's a decently forceful attempt, but Terumi is light especially without momentum behind him. ]
So whatever goes, huh?
no subject
[ Hm, yeah. This position will definitely lead to a lot of fun—and as a bonus? It's the kind he hasn't had in a while. ... a really long one.
But before they start anything there's something he needs to do. Quite confidently, and quite intentionally, Suoh places his hands on Terumi's chest and rips his vest and shirt open. Those buttons had it coming. As did the shirt. It's more than a little petty but Terumi's the one who said anything goes, he's only following through. And simultaneously avenging his poor lost shirt (may it rest in peace). ]
no subject
[ The assessment is right of course, Terumi would have it no other way. There's the trademark smirk on his lips until the revenge is taken and hah. It throws him for all of a second, but the fact that it does at all? He was interested before, but now it's on. A different sort of smile finds its way onto his lips, equally as wicked as his usual one. ]
You know, I've always hated this fucking shirt. Thanks. [ Now that they both know where they stand, enough with the banter. There would be more pressing things to do with his mouth soon, anyway.
Its gonna be one hell of a night. ]
