WEEK 4 Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room. You all have a lot to discuss, don't you? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials. It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done? PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 28

[Susan holds out her hand to take the letter, opening it. From the first few words, the expression on her face makes it clear that she thinks her trepidation was entirely justified, thanks.]

I've confirmed the Vending Machine does have more than one copy of some things that seem like there should be only one of 'em, so I figured you ought to know that's in there. And ... [ She hesitates a little longer. She's thinking about how it was Susan who asked Alena about suicide... ] We could talk about it.

It was just this guy and his wife. He was a pest control man - my upstairs neighbor called him to kill my cats, but he just got me instead. So I guess it worked out...

[She meant that as a joke, but it probably came out pretty fucking dark huh]

[...It doesn't hit for a couple more seconds before her eyes widen a bit.]

[Just. Let her set these all down for a moment before just taking the shades off and passing them to him. She feels dense as hell.]

[Ah--Sayaka immediately brightens by a lot, kind of beaming at the praise.]

Ah, was it really okay? I'm glad to at least be getting this down...so, just keep going like that, then?

[She'll do so again, to get her point across--with a little more force! ...And a tiny bit of a cringe, but pretty much solely from the force she put in.]

[Sayaka gives a sleepy smile.]

You can totally sleep over. I wouldn't mind that at all. [...even if she feels bad about her sleeping on the floor.] I understand you, though. It's kind of nice, and...honestly, it feels a lot less oppressively silent.

Yes, but I don't. It's extremely illegal, and the only reason I'd done it in the past was because it was... compulsory.

They'd likely only have to show us they're serious once to get the point across. After that, they likely wouldn't have a need for it again, because we're all fearful.

[It's an optimistic way of looking at things, but...yeah, Sayaka can't quite shake that feeling.]

In the case of fractured dimensions, the catalyst...lives in the dimension they created. But usually, they are not aware of this. Are you saying they are?

[He waits patiently for Sayaka to drop what she's doing and hand them over (how nice of him not to offer to hold the stuff, right), and once he has them he fiddles with them in his hands. He doesn't seem very pleased to have them, actually.]

Well, they're obviously not that distinct to obviously be someone's personal item, though I will say that they were not cheap.

Very much aware. ...And...not quite living, either. This place isn't really a full dimension as it is...well, a pocket. It's like...the size of an island.

Ever since my great-grandparents helped build Dalsnes up! They were a pretty odd pair, or so my dad used to say, didn't have a bit of training but learned how to defend themselves with the rest of the start ups there. My great-grandma had a better time with it than my great-grandpa did apparently.

I don't think I'd talk to her much more if she were direct about all her killing, but I think I'd dislike her less...if that makes sense.
