It's understandable that it would be a bit confusing. Maxwell the Lord of Spirits and Milla Maxwell the Lord of Spirits are two very different things in reality.

I was raised in the Village of Nia Khera. Not by humans, but by the Four Great Spirits. Maxwell created me, but he did so with the idea that I would believe that I was indeed the Maxwell and would become bait for those who wished him harm. And I... I was ignorant of his existence, much less his true intentions.
Even so, it was only a matter of time before I realized the truth. Well, 19 years in reality. However... instead of being destroyed like he may have wished, I challenged his ideals and defeated-- no. Killed him. As such I have been the Lord of Spirits only slightly more than two years now.
In reality I am only a fragment of Maxwell's power. But I have gained my own power as well.
