Week 2.
Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. |

Well, whatever! It was obviously just a dream, so Morty won't dwell on it. Especially since he has some coins to go use on that vending machine. Finally!]

[Kind of excitedly, Morty leaves his room and makes a straight b-line towards the machine, his coins in his hands. Though, thanks to being excited and also kind of an awkward piece of shit, Morty winds up tripping and spilling his coins on the ground. Which, he picks up three of them easily enough but one of them was kind enough to roll behind the machine. In a nice, little crack that was impossible to get to by hand.]
O-oh no!
[So now, anyone who wants to use the machine or who's just passing by can find the poor kid trying desperately to move the machine or use random objects found around to get at the coin... what an unlucky guy.]
ii.
[After he finally gets the coin either with help or by himself, Morty can be found in the library. He's sitting at one of the tables, looking absolutely depressed as he kind of absentmindedly plays with his Caterpillar-kun, tugging the cord and moving it around a bit. He also has a certain long, red scarf just thrown over his shoulders haphazardly and a pair of scissors chilling on the table in front of him. Boy, he looks really down though. Maybe it's because of the sheer number of books around this TV loving kid or... probably something else.]
I
...having a little trouble, Morty...?
no subject
I can't - reach it...! [He's trying to shove his arm back there.. not. It's not working.]

What do you think we should do? Use a coat hanger or something?

II
Hey there, Morty.
Did you get that scarf from Hibiki?
[She didn't seem like she was going to lend it out, but he's also not going to think much of the fact.]
no subject
No, I got it from the machine, just now.
no subject
Really....?
That means there are two of that scarf floating around now. How on earth did the Conductor do that...?
no subject
no subject
I could recognize it anywhere.
no subject
D-do you want it back...? [He's already prepared to give it to him, having started taking it off.]
no subject
Naaah, maaan. Like I said, someone else has gotten one of those, too.
Something weird's going on, but I'm not about to take a comfortable scarf from you.
no subject
Thanks! It's kind of way too big for me but it's pretty cold in here, s-so I think I'll keep it. [Probably because it's a giant building with only one incinerator to heat it up..]
no subject
It'll keep you warm at night, if nothing else.

Or maybe the Conductor has some sort of magical powers. He's already sticking food and random objects in there. [And weapons.]

But he laughs, shakes his head and says:]
I was joking.
