Week 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process.

(As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.)

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done.

PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 27

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains as well!

The Letters and Switchboard posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

It all depends on if one thinks they can get away with it or not. I expect there are some among us that are willing to risk that.
zomgboom: (ugh i haven't checked my phone for ages)

I'm not saying it won't happen - it's, like. You know, like how reality tv is way scripted and stuff? That's this place.

There's just no point, as far as I can tell. Did you ever, like, think about why we're here? What's the Conductor get out of this? What is the point?
midnightsea: (race for the morning)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-09 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Who can even guess? It's likely that there is no point and he just wants to see us all die.
zomgboom: (what are you saying?)

[personal profile] zomgboom 2015-11-10 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
No, but it's like. Normally he would have been all "MWAHAHAHA SILLY PARTICIPANTS, I HAVE BROUGHT YOU HERE TO DIE" or something? Like, a villain speech or whatever? Everyone gives a speech, it's required and stuff, but he was just like "hi you're here I can't send you home sorry" and like. [How does she put this.] He's actually really, like, not exactly nice? But he's definitely not evil? Today he told me he was going to try and figure out why I don't have powers but Kaneki did. Why . . . wouldn't he already know that if, like, he's the one who brought us here?
midnightsea: (the vision never dies)

...That is an excellent question, actually.

[Dio presumed most of his own powers were intact, or he'd been starving for a week for no real reason.]

I suppose the first question to ask would be 'what makes your abilities different from Kaneki's?'
zomgboom: (is stealing like a crime?)

[personal profile] zomgboom 2015-11-10 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno. He said it was like. [She pulls the letter out of her pocket because it was some Science Bullshit and she's really bad at that.] "A-key-esss-ent kept his abilities because they were inherent to his species."

So I guess it's like. The X-Gene is inherent to being a mutant? But it's, like. Everyone's X-Gene does different stuff or whatever? So it's kind of, like, similar to my hair being blond but Kaneki's being black or whatever?

[That is 200% not how genetics work but Tabby tried really hard with that explanation because the X-Gene is 100% comics bullshit that barely makes sense.]
