Week 2.

WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. A sweater? Yeah, that kinda thing isn't too hard. Big projects like that kinda take a while, though...

Why, are you gonna try to knit, too?

. . . I'm gonna make the ugliest Christmas sweater known to man. [AND THEN SHE'S GONNA MAKE LOGAN WEAR IT.] Teach me how to do the thing.

Eh? Well, I can, but...do you know how to knit already? 'Cause it's easier to start with smaller projects!

[She has a bad feeling about this.]

No, it's better if I have no idea. Then it comes out ugly and, like, I don't even have to try and make it ugly?

[THE CONDUCTOR IS GOING TO REGRET EVERYTHING.]

Alright, well...if you're gonna make a sweater, you're gonna need a pattern for it. Maybe they have those in here or in the library, I haven't looked around much. Wanna look with me?

[zomgboom]

Sure. What do patterns, like, look like?

[She knows literally nothing about knitting.]

[She briefly wonders if Tabby would be better off punching arm holes in a pillowcase.]

They're like...complicated images! They're a bunch of shapes. Some of 'em are kinda hard to follow, but we might be able to find an easy one for ya.

[zomgboom]

[NO SHE'S GOTTA KNIT THIS SWEATER. AND COVER IT IN JINGLE BELLS.]

Well, what are we waiting for? Let's find me a pattern so I can knit a sweater!

[goes to dig through the yarn and stuff. SURELY THERE ARE PATTERNS THERE.]

Alright! Let's see...

[And so the big search begins. You can't really knit without a pattern, so she's sure to find something.

After a few moments, she opens a drawer and finds some old sheets. They're...old, yes, but she calls Tabby over.]

These are the kinda things I was lookin' for!

[zomgboom]

[SWEET. Tabby comes over with . . . a packet of jingle bells. God help us all.]

Awesome! Is there, like, a sweater pattern? And can you, like, add these in somehow? Or do I just sew them on later?

[All of them, she means. She is going to use every goddamn jingle bell in that package on her sweater monstrosity.]
