Week 2.

WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. That's... It sounds nice, even if I don't quite understand how you can be happy there. But family's important, isn't it?

Family is the most important! Don't you think so?

I suppose so. My sister and I were very close when we were younger, and I do still see her and my father on occasion.

[housenurse]

Oh, do they not live near you? [she couldn't imagine only seeing her family on occasion...]

No, they're back in the city. I moved out to Oak Tree Town with a handful of servants... oh, only about ten, maybe twenty? Anyway, I did that a while back to establish my farm!

[housenurse]

That's... not a handful...

It must be so hard, though, living so far away! Do you get to talk to them a lot, at least?

On a regular basis, in any case. The townspeople are all accommodating, too. There are a few other people running farms around, although they look a little small.

More than two baseball teams of people isn't a handful... [that's an official measurement system in cuba btw]

It must be nice, living in the countryside! It always seems so peaceful and calm...

It's very nice to look at, that's for sure, and everybody is interesting to talk to. Even if it is a little hard to understand now and then. Nothing I can't handle, of course!
