WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. [Rick has been in a terrible mood all week. On Sunday, he had a dream about dating an ex-girlfriend, a hivemind, which ended in his own failed suicide attempt. It only serves to remind him of his ideology on love - and he's rather pithy and somehow even more assholeish for quite a while.

But, Wednesday, he gets an idea.

When Rick isn't in the kitchen smashing eggs and hot sauce against Morty's lovely work (which you are totally free to walk in on), you may find him walking around the entire building doing other things.

Namely, every single instance of "The Conductor" has been replaced with a piece of paper labeled "Donald Trump". This is mostly notable in the fact that there is a copy of the rules in every single room in the damn building. Every single one of these rooms, as well as every single place where this name can possibly be mentioned, is replaced with "Donald Trump".

Satisfied with his work, Rick is going to grab a nice book and head over to the conference room. Kicking his feet up on the table, Rick will read and read. There is nothing else to do here.]

You've found the Conductor's name? Are you sure it's accurate? "Donald Trump" sounds a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I'm sure nobody would name their child that.

Yeah. T-that's why it's his name. It embodies him so well.

Well, I suppose maybe it's symbolic. Where did you hear it?

I heard it from Morty, he got it in - in one of his letters. You know. That kid - he's pretty trustworthy when it comes to these kinda deals. Really not surprised his actual name is Donald Trump.

Well, if you say so. One would think he wouldn't give that out willingly, but he is confusing enough.

Yeah, exactly. F-fu- that guy is all about the riddles and shit. Not surprising.

Riddles? Do you mean how he won't give full explanations? I find those are different.

Honestly, sometimes I don't understand these things at all... Have you contacted him at all, then, or just heard from others?

Yeah, I've t-talked to him. Everybody here has, probably.

I suppose it would make sense. He is as cordial as a captor gets, after all. It's concerning.

What the fuck kind of name is Donald Trump? Sounds like the kind of name that screams "total fucking asshole, do not engage, you're going to want to punch this guy in the smug ass face".

Yeah. Exactly. T-that's why that's his name, I think.

I kinda don't feel like he's that sort of asshole, though? He's more of like, that weird kid in the back of the classroom who does weird stuff to others and calls them social experiments unironically.

[ Basically, if the Conductor were a high schooler, Bakugou feels like he'd be the kid that Bakugou would be calling a fucking loser nerd... ]

So he's gonna be that kid w-who tries to set the place on fire. Got it. His parents named him - what they named him, he can't help that.

Yeah, and then he'd probably say something like. "Oh. What an interesting reaction. I have recorded it."

"Aha yes! Hee horf. Now I shall see all my enemies get burned by the f-flames. But also I have set out one fire extinguisher and they must now kill each other for it."

Exactly, and then he's like [ stiff, robotic "Conductor voice": ] "Oh, you have succeeded in getting the fire extinguisher. Congratulations. It is too bad that the extinguisher is now going to explode."

[rickdiculous]

"Now - now we must figure out who rigged the extinguisher to explode. But I have been in contact with them the entire time. So I know things you do not and am thus better. Please praise me and...and my inferiority complex."

[blazeit]

"Oh, but now I will throw in a plot twist. The fire extinguisher will not actually explode. But the floor is about to cave in and bury you all. How do you feel about this?"

[rickdiculous]

"Please write me your response in letter format. I will be reading them periodically."

[blazeit]

"They must be submitted in 12 point Times New Roman font, double spaced with standard MLA format, and be between 750 to 1,000 words."

[rickdiculous]

"You also have the option of telephoning me. But all y-your calls will be recorded and monitored for quality service, also, I will set you on fire if...should you use improper grammar. Then this whole cycle - it all repeats!"

"I look forward to seeing you all next week where we will perform the same song and dance all over again and you will hate it twice as much as before."
