Week 2.

WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. [ He points to the Doc, and he can't help but smile. ] I used to hang out with him a lot. I think he's dead though.

Woah. T-that got morbid real fast.

[kinda squinting at the picture] You at some kind of...western convention or some shit like that.

[ Marty squints at the photo, and eventually he just shakes his head. ] I think? I can't remember.

Kinda looks like it though. He was a big fan of the Old West. Maybe that's it?

Wow. S-so he drugged you and took you to a Western Theme Park. That's pretty cool. Maybe you should've - should've been more willing to dress up next time.

[heymcfly]

The Doc drugging me? No. No no no. [ He shakes his head a little too hard. ] Doc wouldn't do stuff like that. He's a really nice guy. If I didn't wanna go he wouldn't drag me along.

...I'd say that's dressed up. Right? [ He points to himself. ] 'S not like I'm wearing jeans...

Yeah, I mean m-maybe he did it so you'd dress up. Or something. I don't know. Don't really have any ideas there.

Huh. Maybe it was a costume party or somethin'.

[ weird. ]

Anyway. Your name's Rick, right? I'm Marty.

Morty's a pretty damn nice guy. He likes you a lot.

[ rick might be kind of an asshole but he's funny ok. Marty finds himself laughing. ]

He told me you're a scientist. That right?

The best scientist. D-don't have a labcoat, though. Mostly because The Conductor is an asswipe.

Shit, I don't think you need a labcoat to be a good scientist, right?

My friend's a scientist and he wears normal clothes all the time. Except for radiation suits though.

Yeah, well, I miss it. So that's fine and all, but y-you know, just miss it.
