Week 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process.

(As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.)

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done.

PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 27

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains as well!

The Letters and Switchboard posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

It gets chilly up here after a while. I figured I'd just make enough coffee for two.

[A nod.]

That's as well as any of us could do. I'm glad you're in a little better spirits, though.
hashtagafreakingghost: we'll stop and count to ten (before you walk‚ you'll learn to fall)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-15 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Relatively.

[She takes a sip, using the moment to think.]

I...don't think I thanked you properly for...uh, Sunday night.
icysemblance: (something resembling a smile)

[personal profile] icysemblance 2015-11-15 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
You don't need to.

[Weiss puts her coffee down, and smiles.]

Come find him whenever, okay? He's good for at least having something to talk to when it's midnight and you can't sleep.
hashtagafreakingghost: the secret's not worth keeping (and in the end)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-15 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
[For such an icy girl, she really is sweet.]

Really? I probably need something like that sometimes. I can't believe you got something so useful from that stupid machine.

I counted myself lucky to get him. It was what I needed most, I guess.
hashtagafreakingghost: i can't stop now (i know we'll never make it but)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-15 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
For a crying, freaked out girl, yay... [Ashley clears her throat.] Well, either way. Here. Think of it as an actual thank you.

[She produces a cute white-and-blue beanie from behind her back.]

I know it's not really your style, but? You know.
icysemblance: (something resembling a smile)

[personal profile] icysemblance 2015-11-16 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
That's really cute! Thank you.

[She's going to put that on right away.]

What do you think?
hashtagafreakingghost: where the moon and the stars reside (there's a place we can all be together)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-16 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[ c: ]

It looks great! You really make it work for you, of course.

It's different, but I like it. Thank you so much.

...think you could teach me to - is that knitting or crochet?
hashtagafreakingghost: hanging on the wall (eyes hiding in the hall)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-17 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
This is crochet, but I can knit too. I've never taught it, but...I think I could. It can't be that hard to teach someone.

I'm usually a pretty quick study. What should I go grab from the sewing room?
hashtagafreakingghost: so desperate to love (we're drowning in cliches)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-17 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
A crochet needle, like this. [She carefully shows off the one she's using.] And yarn. It doesn't matter what color, as long as it's light and soft.
icysemblance: (looking pleased)

[personal profile] icysemblance 2015-11-18 03:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[Weiss looks over the needle carefully, nodding.]

Right. I'll be right back, then.

[She sets her coffee down, then walks to the sewing room. She comes back with hooks of a couple sizes that looked about the same size as Ashley's, plus some light blue-green yarn].

Think this will work?
hashtagafreakingghost: but that was once upon a time (days all seemed to last so much longer)

[personal profile] hashtagafreakingghost 2015-11-18 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Perfect!

[Ashley sets down the hat she's working on (it's almost done, thank goodness) and takes some pink yarn from her pile.]

Now, the first step is actually you watching me. I'm gonna show you the basic movements, and then you follow when I'm done and make a test swatch. That's basically just...you getting it all down for yourself and comfortable. Got it?

[And you know, it's hard to describe how it looks when you crochet, especially for someone who hasn't done it before, so let's just observe Step 1 of Part 2, shall we?]
