trustfell | Week 2.

WEEK 2
Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process.

(As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.)

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done.

Well, you'd want to change the bag once a day, if it were going to be in that long. Not for the blood transfusions - you shouldn't need more than one bag for that. Just take the tubing out when it's done.

They should be monitored the entire time, of course, just to make sure they're stable. I...hope that doesn't actually come up.

Oh, of course, me too. How bad would it be if we need to hospitalize someone in this place...? But...more than one person should know all this stuff anyway. So...thank you.

I think so too. Just in case.

It'd be nice if one of use could save someone for a change.

...Yeah. I'd really, really like to avoid something like last week.

It'll only help if we can get to them in time...we need to keep a better eye out.

What if it happens at night again?

Why is everyone going out at night anyway?

I wish those rooms weren't quite so quiet. That would help.

What they need is to not go out alone. Buddy system, or something like that.

We could just stick with our neighbors. If we trust our neighbors.

[She's already offered that to Elise across the hall, and the only room next to her is Cabenela's, so that's all right.]

Katsuki suggested that... Marty and Mr. Jiminy. I like them well enough, but...I don't know. Trust is kind of hard here.

Mordecai...

[Susan hesitates. She thinks he's to be trusted. But is she certain enough to stake someone else's life on it? That's bigger than just trusting him herself. How could she live with it if she were wrong?]

...seems alright. I don't know Marty that well.

They seem alright. There are just... They aren't my big go-to, and... Oh, I don't know. Can't be too careful. With these stakes.

No, of course. You're right.

Well, you're welcome to come see me, but my room's nowhere near yours. [There's a good excuse too, if Ashley doesn't trust her that much either.] Who else is down near you...Giovanni? Don't ask him.

[Nothing against Giovanni in particular, just...]

No...I don't even know that I distrust him, exactly.

He's just not one of my top choices. [You know how it goes.]

Just...some lighters. With a lot of fluid.

Not much of a weapon, but they could be useful.

...I wish this thing would spit out some cigarettes.

Only sometimes. I'm not saying it's a good habit to have...not in my professional medical opinion.

Maybe it's for the best. I don't like to smoke inside anyway, the smell's awful.

It's not gonna cause trouble if you don't, right? Like...nicotine?
