WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. [Her voice cracks on the last word, a fact that seems to surprise her. Her gaze stays at the floor, looking embarrassed, ashamed, afraid.

She's very small.]

I really don't know what I am.

[decrees]

Ah... I apologize, Rakka, I didn't mean to...

[WHOOPS, WELL HE HECKED THAT UP]

[You done hit the rawest nerve you could find, Logan.

For what it's worth, Rakka's managing to... not burst into tears. That's an accomplishment, right?]

...I'm sorry. I thought I was just a normal girl, nobody special.

[decrees]

That's certainly not true, Rakka. You're very kind and caring; you're very special.

[Regardless of what you are, though it's probably best not to say that... oh god he's so bad at this he's trying...]

[Special? That's a word that catches her, gripping her attention, because the only memory she regained was of her... saying that she was nobody special.

And hearing that, well... damn, Logan, you're trying. You really are. Rakka sniffles, managing to meet his gaze again.]

...Do you really think so, that... I'm special?

[decrees]

Of course you are. You are have been nothing but kind to all of us. I find it's much easier to calm down when you are around. A presence like that is noteworthy - you are not the sort of person anyone could forget, Rakka.

[Rakka listens, and she listens some more. She doesn't stop quietly listening to Logan until he's done speaking.

"You are not the sort of person anyone could forget, Rakka."

...She hoped he was right. That's what she really wanted.]

... [A smile, and a sniffle.] Thank you very much, Logan.

[decrees]

You're welcome. I'm pleased my words could help.

[And while he's not smiling, this is probably the closest he can get right now. He really is happy to help.]
