Week 2.

WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. Yeah. It's also good for when people need to take their fluids through an IV. I doubt we'll need that here...

If we do, at least they're simple enough to set up. I wish I had a way for you all to practice with the needle though...

Well. If I ever need to inject anyone, you can watch. I thought about asking the Conductor for something we could use, but...

[But she's legitimately concerned he might deliver an actual corpse.]

[She certainly hopes that's not what Susan was asking for.]

They make fake bodies, you know? Like for medical school? I didn't ask anyway, I don't - really want to know what I'd get.

[Exactly what you'd think. Luckily, she looks relieved.]

O-oh. No, I didn't know that. I-I guess if you did ask, I'd be worried about what we got from the Conductor, too.

I don't like to ask him for things anyway. I'd rather not talk to him at all.

Well, I've... talked to him a little. He gave me something.

Uh! It was an extra pillow! Ever since I got these wings, I had to learn how to sleep on my sides. It's, uh, too uncomfortable to sleep on my back.

[She gestured a little to her wings, which twitched just a little in reflex.]

At least he can be a little useful? [She wouldn't call it nice of him. She wouldn't call anything nice of him, given the situation.]
