This week has been a difficult one. Between the personnel change and the punishment, the week was already looking to be long; the incentive, however, is one of the harsher ones, adding a layer of hardship to the group that does nothing but compound the already-existing tension. And, as always, there's the ever-present threat of the timer. Friday morning dawns like the rest of the week before it; the clock chimes, the doors to the kitchen unlock, and there's a heavy silence that's settled over the building. There's no announcement from Jericho to awaken you, either; once again, this is something that's promising until it's thought about in slightly more depth. Of course, as soon as you leave your rooms and move toward the main portion of the Academy in the morning, it will become immediately obvious that something is horrifically wrong. Namely, there's a very distinct scent coming from the room with the incinerator; not to put too fine a point on it, but let's say that anyone who was in either the bar or the workshop last week will probably recognize it. ...Yeah. Explore?

[Well, between the detective and the doctor and their combined powers of Having Seen Some Shit, it's obvious that her muscles have constricted a hell of a lot due to having been, you know, shoved in an incinerator and left there while the damn thing was turned on; that said, it doesn't seem that she was alive when burned. Thankfully. Um.]

So now he'll be looking for anything that looks like an injury or wound on her body.]

[He'll start with her head. The front, or the back of her head if he doesn't find anything.]

[Her head...generally seems fine, in that there don't seem to be any signs of injury - although it might be good to bear in mind that, you know, the girl was literally in an incinerator a moment ago, so checking for wounds like that might be kind of hard.

That said, though, something does seem off with her neck.]

[That's true; he'd be looking for something majorly off. But with that out of the way he'll look over her neck. Does it look broken or otherwise mangled?]

[It looks disjointed, in a way that implies that it was snapped or otherwise broken.]

[Well that's... gross. Is there anything else to the neck, like the angle it's at?

Otherwise, he'll be looking her over for defensive wounds.]

And it's a good idea to check, but again, the body is kind of...also generally nasty and burnt to all hell. It looks like you've gotten about all you're going to get out of it today. o/ ]

[While Cabanela is checking Estelle's neck, Rideaux will check around the torso and legs. Is there anything off going on here? Something that would be noticeable despite the burns. He figures that if the culprit went through the effort of stuffing her in the incinerator, they have to be trying to cover something up, right...?]
