It really isn't getting any easier around here, is it? The way your numbers have fallen is impossible to ignore by now – there's so much space in this building, and it just seems to keep increasing with every passing week. Furthermore, the incentives and the timer are designed to ensure that your numbers keep dropping – something that's guaranteed to be evident today, one way or another. Friday morning dawns like the rest of the week before it; the clock chimes, the doors to the kitchen unlock, and there's a heavy silence that's settled over the building. Once again, there's no announcement from Jericho this morning to wake you up; the public-address system remains quiet, and there's only one conclusion to be drawn from that. And there's really only one thing to be done about it, isn't there? For those brave souls who want to know what happened – or those morbid ones who just want to know who died – the first three floors are clear. However, something seems amiss even from the stairwell as you make your way up to the fourth. Namely, the heavy scent of blood. Explore?

Don't think about it. Time to investigate...starting with the piano I guess. Let's get the horrible thing out of the way first. ]

[That's (probably) for the best? Yeah, let's start there. It looks like there's a right hand on the piano keys, though there's something odd about the hand. It's been bound with wire so the index finger points in the direction of the stringed instruments.]

[You won't find anything off about most of them, but inside a cello there's a note!

When you open it you'll find that it's not handwritten, but rather made up of letters from almost everyone's afterparty notices and other letters. It's like one of those old ransom letters! It reads:

gOod bye! thaNks for playing, you absolutE twit!

[ It takes Alex some great restraint to not crumpled it up. She'll pocket the note, instead, though if- when this is all done, she has a strong desire to burn it.

There's other things to be looked at in this room, right? Anything else about the instruments, or is she good to look elsewhere for more horror puzzle fun? ]

[Surprisingly, no! But it does look like some things are missing: surgical gloves, gauze, and tape. The other items aren't disturbed though, so the person who went through here probably knew exactly what they were grabbing.]
