This particular investigation was likely a difficult one, for various reasons; whether through frustration or sheer disgust at the level of depravity involved, it's been a long day already. It doesn't seem like it will get any easier by the time the door to the courtroom unlocks, gently swinging open to allow everyone downstairs. As always, the stairwell is dark, but the courtroom is already lit up down below, a thin amount of light bouncing up the corridor to guide everyone downstairs; the podium circle stands stark and silent in the center, marking spots for both the living and the dead; by now, the latter far outnumber the former. Kirei, Milla, Angel, and Susan have all had their spots altered, their podiums draped in black cloth and their portraits set atop them; they'll be joining those watching all of you in greyscale as you work today. Do you think you'll do them justice? Either way and as always, the thirty-sixth podium remains empty and unadorned. Once everyone has found their place in the circle, Jericho can be heard over the public-address system; he doesn't seem to have settled any from the investigation. "Peerless, Edifying, and Adroit have all been taken from you - and hey, it looks like you found all of them, we appreciate that. But even if you hadn't, you'd still be down here, and I'm sure I don't need to tell you what you have to do as a result of everything that's happened. This is another one of those things that's either gonna be great or it's going to be terrible, though maybe I'll add in a third option of 'interesting' this time, just due to the setup. wound & clothing check

So, it's highly likely our killer went ahead and gotten themselves injured. I'm going to be taking a good look at everyone's hands and arms, so you might as well show what's going on there.

[ Yuri is actually more or less checking to see if anyone's sporting any kinds of cuts on their hands and arms, but any super recent bruises will do too. He'll be also seeing if anything's weird going on with someone's clothing too.

As for himself, Yuri's hands are looking clean; there is a bruise from earlier in the week on one of his arms but that's just about it. Also, there are no tears in his clothing and he's wearing the same black clothing as usual. ]

[Sayaka's clean; her arms and hands are pristine and uninjured, and her clothing is perfectly fine. She's got black stockings, but they're fine too.]

[Kyrie lets herself be checked. Even though she is wearing this long black coat that'd have more than enough material to make those tourniquets, it's completely intact. Everything on she is perfectly clean and intact, too.

She has no cuts or bruises or anything like that]

[She complies with no complaint, and there are no bruises or cuts on her hands or arms. There's nothing amiss with her clothes, either, and she doesn't wear black.]

[Cabanela is clean. No injuries, and he's in his usual spotless white coat.]

[Rideaux is clean for the most part. He's wearing his suit and red gloves as always, but there isn't anything off about them. The only thing of note is some older bruising on his arms from earlier in the week. But Yuri would know all about those.]

[Tarrlok is clean! His hands are as nicely manicured as usual, and his arms are fine. There's also nothing going on with his clothes that's suspicious.]

[ Elda's clean. She's in her sleeveless lavender dress (with no shoes and thus somewhat bloodied even if she did watch them feet) and has no visibly injuries. I mean, they'd show if they were there. ]

[ Completely clean, with no cuts or bruises. Her clothing's fine, and there's no trace of black. ]

[Rin's the one who suggested the check, so of course she'll submit to it herself. Probably does Yuri's for him too.

Rin's wearing her typical outfit: ie. the red shirt with its long sleeves, which she'll roll back to better display her hands and arms. There's not a scratch on them and her hands are clean too! She wore gloves for examining Angel. She's got her black stockings and miniskirt on as well, and don't worry, it's all there. That skirt can't afford to get shorter.]

[ Aligula's in her Alice costume today! The one she first arrived in, so it's white and blue and all that. It's in perfectly fine condition, because she keeps all her clothing well-taken care of. The white stockings that come with it are similarly great.

She doesn't have to take her gloves off since she forgot them today, so her hands are easy to see; they're free of any visible injuries, as are her arms, though... How closely is he looking? ]

[ He's actually looking very closely here... particularly more closely with Aligula than with anyone else because of his own initial suspicions (sorry not sorry.)

Is there anything odd about her arms and hands here? ]

[Tacking on here that Yuri asked Rin to help, so she's also here. She'd be paying attention to how Aligula is holding herself; if she were favoring one side, or so forth.]

[ Hi, Rin. Nothing incredibly visible, though given Rin's the perceptive type, she can tell she's favoring her right a little here. Though really, mostly she's favoring laying her head back on her podium once she's certain the inspection is done. ]

[She's been doing that a couple of times throughout the trial, hasn't she?]

Just a little, and this extra chat totally isn't helping. I didn't get to eat earlier, so it's probably that.

I always skip breakfast, so I get those all the time. [She winces, in sympathy.] The back of your head must be killing you.

But you know what, probably not unfounded, given there's a slight shine to a few places on her arms. The color's pretty much a match for her, but the shine's probably not natural.

Hope you had a good time looking, though, because Aligula's not letting Yuri look any longer than she thinks he needs!! Arms back by her side, like a good girl. ]
