"throws tax collectors into rivers" Yuri Lowell ([personal profile] hesperos) wrote in [community profile] trustfell2017-10-28 06:23 pm

It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world

[ So, Yuri's going to be going around, putting up slips of paper for everyone to see, because even with everything that was that trial, he is sure it could help. He doesn't know--it's worked from time to time before anyway and someone should do it. ]

[ Yuri, for once, is going to be making some food for the afterparty that isn't desserts. On his side of things, his food is generally going to be geared towards something more western-style and hearty. In essence, there is some things of curry with beef, chicken, and vegetables in them, take your pick. Sayaka and Kyrie also will be assisting with food, providing stuff that is likely to be geared towards something asian.

This whole set up, of course, is going to be done in the dining hall, since that's where it usually is. ]

Dining Hall

I admit I didn't think she'd actually kill someone.

[Not...the best way to greet someone, Kyrie? But yeah, she sits nearby]

I thought she was better than that, despite her quirky behavior.
bloodisthicker: i always thought of you as family. (we will completely purge our sins.)

I agree with you on that. I suppose it was wishful thinking, but I was sort of hoping she was the sort of person who was harmless despite being extremely callous and having no filter whatsoever.

[sigh.]

I don't know what we'd do about her if she'd given us more of a reason to treat her like a threat before this, though.

We wouldn't have done anything. I can predict how it'd have gone. [She tilts her head] The level-headed ones here would have proposed restraining her to her room, somehow. Sayaka-chan, Alex-san and others would have argued to let her free, maybe with a guard if that was needed. Those like Ganaha-san would have refused to take a side.

In the end, nothing would have been done.

[And maybe Aligula would have killed faster]
bloodisthicker: maybe you shouldn't have gone all facist tarrlok (way to turn out like dad tarrlok)

...

Yes, you're really probably right. I guess there is something to be said for the fact that she lasted this long, though, all things considered.

[sigh...]

We were going to lose at least two people anyway, but she had to make everything worse.

...now that you mention that people would have died anyway, it's surprising nobody fell for the Coordinators' motive. I was sure someone would take the bait and kill for themselves and another person's sake.
bloodisthicker: but i'm still not reopening your arena (that's rough buddy)

I don't think those have actually been that successful for the past while, actually. I'm not actually sure why they've been bothering at this point, all things considered.

Yes, you're right...

[Hmmm...]

It's possible it is protocol. It was said there have been games like this one before. Giving motives may simply be a custom, something they have to do no matter what.

That'd require a worrying amount of organization, though, like there's a group of people exclusively focused on directing this kind of games.
bloodisthicker: yeah but what are we going to do with all that melon juice? (pinky are you thinking what i'm thinking)

It does seem a bit like that from what they've said, anyway. They're definitely bound by rules to some degree.
